So, this video is part of my series where I take YOUR style parameters and show how they can be combined to create outfits you need.
But, there’s also an important message at the end of this video about the future of my content and where I see this channel going.

I have loved your approach and representation of kibbe. You make it feel easier to understand and follow. We are all here because we are enjoying your take on the different styles and how to Como and showcase just how easy it can be.
Don’t stop doing what you do best. Keep on Kibbe.
Hello! I’m a soft gamine with Kibbe petite despite being a bit taller (5’5) as I have short limbs. I have strong ingenue essence (50-60%) with natural essence undercurrent (20-30%) and I believe the rest may possibly lean ethereal (maybe I just love ethereal essence)? I’m a true spring with black hair and quite warm skin, love me a good warm blue dress, however since I’m a uni student who already appears younger due to my ingenue essence, I want to dress slightly more elegant and mature while still retaining my playful personality. I draw inspiration from Chinese street fashion (I am Chinese), cottagecore influences, dark earthy academia, love flared pants but prefer wearing dresses and skirts. I also live in a warmer climate so no jackets generally
Hi,
I am 1,50 cm and either a soft gamine or a (not so curvy) romantic. I have long dark brown hair and I am a winter (a lot of blues and purples and pink) and i have gamine, ingenue and a tad of romantic essence. I love dresses. I work in an office with a quite conservative dress code though and love to go on walks during the weekends. I always wear earrings and would like to integrate some boho influence but would also like to look elegant, approachable and lively.
I've been working on my style for at least 3 years. I've learned I'm a Kibbe Romantic. Kitchener Classic, Ingenue, Romantic, Natural. True Autumn. Those are all helpful. One thing I've learned is that learning the lingo is the biggest hurdle. "Able to chase a toddler" for me = 3" heels and a dress. Classic and simple style for me = queen Anne furniture and lace curtains. "Old fashioned" does not equate to stuffy and boring. Sexy does not equate to less clothes. Modest does not equate to unsexy. I'm slowly starting to learn why I'm so confused and why the people I talk to don't understand me. I enjoy these real examples because they help me see the various interpretations.
I really appreciated the hijabi example and how well-informed you are on it! I feel seen as a muslim woman. Thank you!
This video was super interesting!
I agree with many of the other comments, it is good that you seriously consider feedback but the kibbe content you have previously created and is helpful to many including myself.
If you would ever do a video like this again, I would like to share about my body and style elements. I am a dramatic classic with some natural and dramatic essense. I am a soft autumn and am drawn to muted colors like mauve, jade and sage. In the summer I tend to tan and opt for brighter colors like yellow and azul. I work in an office at a start up without any dress code. I am 27 years old but have a lot of responsibilities so I like to dress smart to look the part. I really love waist emphasis and mid length dresses, but i would like to wear more skirts. I don’t have pierced ears and prefer subtle gold jewelry. While I want to look sharp and timeless comfort is a high priority and I prefer flats or blocky heels on special occasions. I like classic simple clean and comfortable aestetics like french girl or coastal grandma but I would prefer to do my own thing as opposed to follow a style template. I have chest length hair and usually wear it down, I am not good at styling hair. I have not come so far as to create a map but I hope this description might inspire some ideas 😊 Thank you for your content!❤
I love these! Thank you for being so open minded and adaptable. That's part of life, learning to change and grow. Your videos have helped me so much and I'm finally starting to feel confident in my skin again as a new mom expecting a second boy!
Here are my parameters: I'm a Flamboyant Gamine with mostly a Romantic essence. I have a little bit of Natural, Gamine and Ethereal too. I'm drawn to femme fatale, edgy, tomboyish and cottagecore fashion. I want to vibe being chill, mysterious, witty, modest but still sexy. My clothes must be comfy and versatile. As a stay at home mom, of soon to be two boys, I have a slew of hobbies. They range from cooking and sewing to hiking and gardening. I live in a 4 season climate that is mostly cold and wet (excluding our very hot summers). My husband and I are also constantly working on big projects, right now we are building a home and fixing an old motorcycle.
I love lace and jeans. Colors make me nervous so most of my wardrobe is black or grey. I would like to expand into more colors though. I hate heels, my go to being some sort of high top or boot with a big sole, but 90% of the time I'm barefoot. I don't wear makeup and my jewlery is quite minimal. I prefer short hair. Also, I am often asked if I'm related to Audrey Hepburn. Sorry this is so specific.
Thank you for these videos!
You are good. Glad I found you.
I love that you added the hijabi and non binary examples 🥰
I would also love to be included in the next video, I'm a true winter FG with GDR essences, live in a tropical country, like to show off my (non kibbe) curves, and would describe my style as a slutty (in a feminist way lol) version of Lily Collins + The Nanny
Even though my style parameters weren’t here, it was so helpful to see your process with other people- it showed me how to approach my own wardrobe as a stylist and not someone trying to “find” my style in the kibbe rules. I appreciate the time you put into this video so much and I’d love to hear your take on my style parameters: I’m a flamboyant natural with Natural, Gamine, Ethereal essences, colour palette is a bit tricky for me but I think I’m a soft autumn. I like street style and sporty looks, but I also want to look put-together and have clothes that transition well to business-casual work. I don’t like purses or dresses/skirts, and I generally like androgynous comfortable styles that aren’t shapeless.
Amazing video!!! Last part made me said and a bit angry for you. I have watched millions of body types videos, yours are being most helpful, hands down!!!!
I would say do not take criticism too seriously, it can rob you of your own point of view, we are here for your point of view!!!!!!! Be careful of others opinion. Take it , if you want, analyze but do not let it get to you.
As a highly experienced professional in some high stress environments for some 40+ years, I will tell you to keep others opinions at arm length.❤
Great great content!!!!!
This is so helpfull, thank you 😊 i am kibbe romantic with romantic and classic essence, dark winter. I like to look effortlessly chic and little bit playfull, i love colors but also love black. Need to chase toddler all day, but I love dresses especially 50s styles (not skirts) but I often end up with fitted sweatpants and striped Tshirt, and it good, I also like french chic, but I want to feel great not only ok 😃😃
Hi Gaby! I wish you could help me in some of your next videos because I'm struggling with this.
ID: Theatrical Romantic
Essences: Romantic, ingenue and a bit of natural.
Colour season: Dark Winter
I valorate comfort upon anything and I love vintage style so my outfits tends to look vintage(-ish) (from the 50s). I want to look polish and simple but also sexy and approachable.
I would appreciate so so much your help!
This is so helpful, thank you for putting these together!
My style parameters: I am a dramatic classic with natural and etherial essence (people have told me I look a bit like an elf (think Galadriel), I've also heard I look like I'm from a different time like from ancient Greece). I think I am a true autumn, I have long and wavy blonde hair and tend to wear colours like beige, moss green or burnt red. I like styles that are simple, elegant and timeless, but also have some personality. I am inspired by Scandinavian and Japanese interior design but also love, when element are taken from nature like with art-nouveau-styles. I work as a therapist, so I would like to look put together, professional and confident, yet still approachable, friendly and down to earth. I only wear flat shoes, clothes need to be comfortable for me to wear them, I am very active and move around quite a lot. I'm also very pear shaped, so I struggle to find pants or skirts that don't throw of my balance. I would really appreciate your input, thank you so much!
I love your videos and have found them very helpful, while I love your ability to self reflect and take constructive feedback I hope you don't feel down about it- you're doing an amazing job!!
These videos help so much!!
I absolutely love them!
All your videos are life saver for understanding style and being able to apply the “rules” irl! 💕
I've never had a problem with how you presented kibbe info (not that I'm an expert), but by far my favorite videos of yours is your personal style videos. Taking pictures of my outfits every day has been the single most helpful thing for me! And I would love to see more videos on you helping people find outfits inspired from their style/mood boards, regardless of whether kibbe image IDs are part of it or not.
Kibbe is like when the west got into yoga & priorities the wrong aspects of the practice. Are you wrong for teaching yoga? No. Do people need to look at the practice in a more holistic way as it was intended to reap the benefits? Yeah buddy.
"Emilia's" style really encompasses much of my own, it was super helpful to see your approach to that, blending those style priorities.
Everything kibbe is such a mine field right now, you are obviously very emotionally intelligent but I'm sure it's difficult to navigate.
Thank you sooo much for the video!
How can we send you our personal style board?
Thank you so much! This was super helpful and I related so well to the example of the hijabi! You were so respectful and spot on!!! <3
This is an outstanding video and I love your devotion to integrity of presentation. Often I feel the overload of trying to make too much information fit together. Instead, I've started thinking of the absolute three truths from which I cannot escape: my basic body outline and where it sits on a Kibbe type *continuum*, my main essences, and my natural coloring. To that I've added the component of my most typical personal relationship to clothing (like whether I want to be noticed because of my outfits or for myself with outfits as supporting actors, how standout I want to be on most days, etc., etc.) I know I can't dispense with these basic truths and be happy. But I don't have to be limited only to those truths. I can wear nearly anything outside of those truths safely so long as it's away from the face…and that's my safe way of experimenting to see how far I want to stretch things.
