We added covers for our garden beds to turn it into a mini greenhouse using 6mil polyethylene plastic which can be purchased from most local hardware store. This allows our season to start early in Spring and end later in Fall. By summer, side doors can easily be set aside or replace the plastic with a netting. It would be easier to screw in a couple of hinges, but we decided not too since there wasn’t enough room to swing the doors. It’s a minor inconvenience but it still works.
Another upside to this is that it can offer protection. Keeps the bugs and squirrels away!

Good job! So simple, so helpful. I’m getting my drill out right now.
Have you had problems with voracious ground hogs and squirrels prior to building your raised beds?
Perfect
The quality is pristine, and the construction is simple

Wow!!! It’s so beautiful and tidy! I suffer with deep depression and anxiety but these videos of yours are so therapeutic for me. I want to start a garden so bad but things have gotten so expensive that I can’t afford to start one. I think it could definitely help me though. Hopefully one day it will be a possibility. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden with us my friend..❤
Such a beautiful job!! You have put your carpentry skills to full utilization! Also love the harvest baskets you make, simple, beautiful and they make sense with the mesh on the bottom!
