  1. You do have some nice clay soil. I have to use a pick axe whenever I plant something. A shovel only goes down a few inches. We have the caliche soil too here in central Texas. Can't wait to see how it all turns out, going to be beautiful!

  2. I adore deconstructing a fading floral arrangement. I start out with a tall silver vase , as as it fades I keep going down in size. A smaller rattan wrapped glass vessel, a smaller crystal urn, a mini ceramic glazed pot…. eventually end up with one or two blooms in a bud vase! I just can't throw out flowers with even a day left.

  3. Carnations are the best, especially in spring/winter. If you can find them, cut daffodils are also charming in a vase and usually not too expensive for a more posey-like arrangement.

  4. Really love the professionals you work with – makes all the difference when doing such a large project/installation. Any project really. Going to be so fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Hi Linda. Long time fan from Canada….love your show and I Incorporated many of your ideas in my renovated back yard. Thank you! I agree the shutters should go, and I love the new light fixtures and your patio out front. I'm your age and totally am looking for ways to make my gardening life easier too 🤗 Keep going….. it's gonna be great!

  6. I love babies breath as a flower for arrangements as well. Their another low cost flower that last.

  7. Garden progressing quick
y! Side note: Noticed your Virginia sweatshirt. Do you have a reason? Wahoo wa alumni asking!🥰

  8. Are you going to put the special bricks with the writing on them to incorporate in your from patio? Here we call the bricks that you brought in ‘clinker bricks’ There is a story to them.

  9. This is so entertaining and enjoyable to watch!! Truly enjoying all of the updates!

  10. Music too loud over Linda talking abt 8.38. Bought flowers at the supermarket in my country ..like everything …are expensive now after u know the virus thing …one bunch carnations is abt $1O Usd. I used to buy the odd bunch but too expensive now for me. I have to grow flowers tho, which is fun ! Your place is really starting to look exciting !

  11. Love the "Virginia" sweatshirt since I lived in Charlottesville 35 yrs. I'm a huge fan. I'm also a
huge fan of yours and am so happy you've chosen to show us all that it takes to change up
a garden, as well as a house. I can't wait to see the boxwood when they're planted. That's one
thing which I like to add to arrangements for greenery. Thank you, Linda, for all the pleasure.

  12. Wow! Your garden is really coming together. I can’t wait to see what it looks like when Kayla’s team is done.

  13. Hello Linda! Just wanted to say how much I admire your energy and vision for the new garden🤍 I too have started from scratch with my new home. Love your ideas, love the front yard patio, love the teaching videos like today.
