I tried bird netting one year and that was just a disaster to put up and I didn’t like how it damaged the tree new growth. Before I tried the red ornaments I was getting damage to almost 90% of my fruit and with the red ornaments the birds don’t bother it almost at all.

How about a plastic owl? Just the crows might harass the decoy.
