Your pots are so beautiful! I definitely will go for violas vs pansies from now on. I have continued to sow poppies thru January. I am determined to see poppies this spring!
hello! what an inspiration, im in NY zone 7 and ddnt know we could sow poppy seeds outdoors! so nice to see your son working wth plants as well! When did you sow the broccoli, kale, caulifllwer? They look big in january. I put everything out a week ago and most of it died due to frost, i ddint cover it, it was in the ground. the only thng that survived was spinach! oh well, i learned, thankyou for this!

Why do you plant grains in your pots and flower beds?? I do like the idea, is it done for weed control and nice green color in the winter beds.
