  1. That's the way it is in northeastern Oklahoma. Temperature up and down, just had 2 hard freezes in a row. Now it's warming up again. Happy Spring.😂

  2. Your nursery is blooming with beauty! I cant wait for my PW order to come in April! My water soluble fertilizer and and the other fertilizer came Saturday! Im ready!

  3. Not realizing it would be a horrible mistake. last spring I purchased the least expensive potting soil from Home Depot to fill all 6 of my large flower pots. Later in the summer months, my 6 pots began to have an awful smell and then little bugs started to crawl out of the potting soil in each pot. I have never seen such a bug. They were black and white and shaped like little marching shields. Needless to say I emptied everything, plants and all into the trash…and as you mentioned in the video "you get what you pay for" . My pots are still empty, for I'm a little hesitant to buy potting soil for HD. I'm not sure if I noticed PW at HD in my area, So. Calif. But I will go find it somewhere else.

  4. You are so right…your Greenhouse smells amazing. Hubby and I had a great time walking around the nursery this weekend and of course shopping for the garden. Many thanks to you, Jerry and your daughter. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We will definitely come back again. We highly recommend EVERYONE within a couple hours of Creekside make the trip. It is so worth it. And, it was very nice to have met you and Jerry. Hubby says it was nice to finally meet his Gardening Mentor!

  5. thank you so helpful even tho here in Vermont we are still buried under 18 in of snow !!! Can"t wait to get in my garden to even trim prune and clean

  6. When you mix strawberries with petunias as you said, do you use the same pw fertilizer that you showed in the beginning?

  7. Beautiful Jenny,
I’m getting my notepad ready. I got an Osteosperma last week in purple. And next to it is a helliothtope in purple,

  8. Thank you can’t wait till the garden Centers open around here appreciate all the information you share.

  9. I can attest to the PW water soluble fertilizer. I water my baskets with it every third watering and when the plants start getting leggy in the real bad het of the summer, I give them a good haircut and a extra dose of this fertilizer. They perk up and start flowering more vigorously than before. I but two buckets of it at a time!

  10. Great informative video! Good camera work too! The teacher is coming out in you! I’m in zone 8 and still afraid we will have one more cold snap! It was 30 degrees at 7 a.m. today…..first day of Spring!

  11. Hey Jenny, thanks for your recommendations! sometimes we have to buy these annuals and store them until its safe to plant outdoors coz if we wait, they will be all sold out. 🙂 Also, where can i get that soil? I never see it in stores? I also live in NC (charlotte)

  12. My petunias are done when it gets hot. Yet, I see others able to go them through the heat and humidity. Any advice?

  13. Are these plants like pansies and they will have to be replaced when the temperature is hit 85 and above I live in Oklahoma and we get the same heat as your area?

  14. Jenny, I need your help. I live in a small town without a garden center. I have a difficult time buying a good potting soil. I am quite a distance from Home Depot and other box stores. On their web site they sell Proven Winners potting soil. Is it the same quality soil no matter where it is purchased??? Sure hope you can help. I need good soil !!!

  15. I do specific color gardens. I use the Blue Lobelia for my blue garden. I love it. For my orange garden I added the Melon daylily last year. I garden in NH zone 5B, never had luck with alyssum.
