I just opened my MM mystery bag today and it was much like yours, minus the hemp yarn (yay). As soon as I saw that super soft yarn, I totally ooohed and aaahed. I had to stop and snuggle with it for a minute. Makes for a good Monday. And I call those donuts as well.
Hi Kassie, the stiff cotton yarn is great for bags!! I try to go down a hook size for tight stitches. It doesn’t work up as smoothly as your hand dyed baby alpaca (my favorite yarn), but the bags come out nice. I love watching you dye yarn, the green ombré is spectacular. You are so creative. The one you liked that you said not many might like, that green is awesome. It looks so woodsy and naturey. I love it really. That is a gorgeous color. I do enjoy your dyeing videos. I learn a bit more and more with every single video. It gives me more ideas on what I might need before I ever try to dye yarn. I hear the Hempster softens after a wash or two. It might be good for bags or perhaps placemats or similar kitchen decor… if you can handle stitching with it.

The Purple Glimmer yarn is absolutely beautiful and the Sparkle ✨ WOW! The Gold-Topaz/Silver would make a gorgeous Pineapple Shawl!!! That type of winding I would call it a Donut Ball of yarn. I really want the Purple and Gold Glimmer yarn but I have overspent on yarn lately (Hobbii’s birthday sale) so I’m going to have to wait awhile before I can get it. Great mystery bags! I’ve always heard they’re called a donut. Channels are changing as needed daily. You have to do what works for you. I’ve never been a fan of Etsy.
