  2. Where to start! First I noticed your hair pulled back and thought how cute it looks, then you explained and oh so true! You've done it again, Laura! I lost 18 red knockout roses to rosette disease a few years ago and I miss them so much. The garden they were in is now much more shaded so I've replaced them with hydrangeas that are more shade loving. Because of you, now I want more knockouts and I have a great spot for them. I also need your gloves. When I removed all the knockouts, I swore I'd never plant anything again with killer thorns. I have three red knockouts in another place and they're doing great. Thanks again for your great video!! The flash freeze in December was followed here by temps in the 70s causing all my azaleas to bud up too early. The next freeze just a couple of weeks ago killed all the buds. I have shrubs like loropetalems, ligustrums, and some of my azaleas that completely defoliated 🙁 They all have new leaf buds but otherwise look like death. What a sad spring in my garden, but I'm hopeful that all will leaf out again. I did lose three huge azaleas. I'll give them a little trim and pampering but don't have any real hope for them. Thank you for the lovely tour!!! – Doleen
