  1. It is always so fun seeing the progress being made in each video! I just love the the thought of the front porch patio. I know
you are going to enjoy it so much!☀️

  2. I am a big fan of redbuds, so they are a special treat! I usually just watch the videos, and don't often comment….but good Lord, people….. give it a break with the patio criticism….. I think Linda and her team are more than capable of planning this out to perfection.

  3. Front porch looks so nice, Linda. Looking forward to your topiaries being placed. Things are coming together nicely. 😊💖🦋🕊

  4. I love the size of this. It's just right for morning coffee and evening cocktails. I love what you are doing with it. It's definitely my style!! Great job filming Stewart!

  5. Yay! The best thing is that horrid red painted concrete on the front porch has gone. It all looks so stunning so far Linda. Congrats on it starting to come to fruition.

  6. ❤ anything that you will do will be beautiful and well done. I love the English garden and you have been a source of inspiration for me. Thank you for sharing with us your new garden adventure. 🎉

  7. Just stopping by to tell you how much I’m enjoying the evolution of your design plan and to say thank you very much for sharing. I want you to know that I watch and like every video, but am too lazy to get on my iPad and comment! Happy Easter! xo

  8. Yes, the patio size is perfect, it shouldn't be bigger, as you say, the scale would be off 💚

  9. I imagine your neighbors are getting inspiration watching the progress at your cottage. You will probably see projects popping up in your neighbors yards soon. I know this long cold winter is making me anxious to play in the soil. We have a bit longer to wait here in Colorado.

  10. I've never heard of using gravel to enhance drainage. I always learn something when I watch your videos. We have caliche soil here in central TX, it's horrible! I've tried many soil amendments to improve the drainage and it all eventually washes out.

  11. I saw a leafing red bud close by, but I have nothing. My almond tree is looking very happy, so I hope the weather goes spring soon. I do not think winter has left us here in the flat lands and have memories of the grands sitting on the wall with the snowman Easter day. I have used lava rock as emergency drought mulch that I can move easily. I am adding some for our drought continues.

  12. Why does Stewart have such unsuitable footwear? Get that man a pair of Welles! 😅

  13. I'll forever be thankful to you, you've changed my whole life, I'll continue to preach about your name for the world to hear, you've saved me from a huge financial debt with just little investment, thanks so much Mrs Katarina

  14. I'm glad Stuart asked the question regarding "dirt work", seems so simple? It's exciting to see your garden progress… thank you for sharing.

  15. Yeeks! I just noticed the two sharp pruners(lawn tools) in the front patio that's upright located in the basket/lawn chair –please be careful, don't trip and fall on them… Just the "Mom" in me.

  16. Linda, this always makes me so happy it’s like a drinking a cup of tea and calming me. You’re an amazing gardener. I have a question I have a little trellis and I’d like to put something pretty yet. Some thing that I know will produce beautifully. My location is good Sun I do not have an English garden but I take bits and pieces that I can create areas in my yard that look beautiful and tranquil to me thank you once again, be blessed

  17. Thank you soo much for your videos! I had a misfortune, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I also created a channel and am trying to move in that direction, but so far not very successful((gh

  18. Keep your camera ready near you so when Steven goes off into one.of those holes you need a Cannon Moment!!!! memories.😂

  19. Bless your heart, you and Stewart were on "treacherous" land today…LOL! Oh, Linda, everything looks so good! The patio is just STUNNING! I cannot wait to see all the beautiful Southern living plants heading your way! My goodness, Oklahoma weather is ever-changing! Cold one day, 90 degrees the next! I think you all definitely beat us in "Crazy" weather patterns! I have marked the date and time for this Sunday's live show! I will most assuredly need a fun chat! My husband just came down with COVID, and we are stuck in the house til Tuesday! Fingers crossed I can avoid getting it!..GADS!! So glad you are enjoying your new home. It is just lovely! Much love and blessings to you and Stewart!

  20. Would like to see your house from the street and also from the opposite corner. From those vantage points we could get the full visual value of the trees. I told my husband we're going to have a " boxwood village." He, of course, will do the digging😂

  21. I went to our library book sale today and found some beautiful garden coffee table books. Thank you for the suggestion of thrift books from your inside house tour!

  22. Hi Linda, and Stewart, I absolutely love your new home and the journey. I just had to share with you guys my first purchase of a snowball viburnum! Yes girl I am absolutely thrilled! See y’all in the much anticipated video 💚😘

  23. Linda, I live in Norther Calif. gets hot here, drought conditions except this year. I have a question about growing geraniums, in years past they grew big, healthy and had beautiful flowers, not much pest problem.. Move ahead to 2020 and I have tried everything, ( I think) to keep them from being eaten right down to the stalks, what am I doing wrong?

  24. Oh Linda everything is coming along nicely. I do love and English Garden. Thank you for sharing your Home with us. So until next time God Bless you and your family and Stewart and have a Blessed evening and stay safe my dear and Special Friends.

  25. Very nice! I wonder how it would look if you removed those steps that lead to the unusable door and put in a brick planting box.

  26. I think it would be a good idea to put boards over those open holes in the front yard. My husband, who is a project supervisor, fell into one of the holes and really hurt himself. Best be safe rather than sorry.

  27. My two -bits… have all the front yard furniture be the aged gray wood, the black metal is too much. Other than that I live vicariously through this beautiful home and future gardens

  28. I see some of your neighbors have vibrant green lawns while others have dead looking brown lawns. What's the difference?

  29. Hello from Ireland. Your garden is coming together nicely & will be a joy when you are able to 'dig in'. Can you tell me what your large acorn ornaments are (I think that's what they are called) and where you got them. I think they are lovely. Good luck with the rest of your work 😊

  30. Can you tell me, please. What is the product applied to the path and step by the front door. I need this in my life! Thank you in advance. Love the new garden, coming along nicely xx

  31. 🌿 Having the pleasure of visiting your new home & garden, something I'd like to add is that the scale of the whole yard, home, and patio is deceptive on-screen as was the previous garden. It appears larger on screen and I completely agree- a larger patio would overwhelm the scale of your charming home. Plus, the "garden real estate" is precious in a yard like yours! I empower you to maximize it! More garden or patio…. I'd pick garden space every time!🏡Ps I just LOVE how the pruned up hollies dance in the wind! So charming 😊🍃

  32. Your patio appears to be perfect size for the purpose you have outlined. I’m excited to see the delivery and installation of plants from Southern Living. April will bring beautiful transformation!
