CONTAINER GARDENING MISTAKE 🤔🌲🪴

Yet another example of my feast or famine gardening, this little tree gone wild. Many years ago, I bought this little tree and was told it would stay small and perfect for this little half-barrel. And it was until the roots broke through the bottom of the barrel. Then it went from a perfect little tree to a raging tree run amok! Not a problem until I made the terrible decision to move it within the barrel. I could never have imagined my tiny little tree would grow to its current size, but it was still a stupid choice. My love for the cute barrel outweighed any thoughtful decision that trees should be planted directly in the ground. I hope my above-ground save will allow it to stay straight and continue growing.
