  1. I thought I missed my season for lettuces but I'm going to look into the ones you talked about. Sounds great. I've started a small native flower garden but don't have the Coreopsis, will look into seeds for that. The Thai Soldier Beans sound great. I love a green bean & still have a raised bed or two to fill. I love all the info you share with us. Thanks to you (& Wild Floridian) I now have a thriving garden that I'm continually growing. I love your videos, Thanks again.

  2. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, it does keep me encouraged not to give up. I am new to gardening, did not do good last year at all. I have about worn myself out trying to figure out what to plant, when to plant, how to plant and all the things I was going to give up but have decided that I am just planting. I like that I have found some one like you who lives and gardens in my area or central Florida. I definitely will be planting beans myself. Again thank you

  3. Loved the video friend I would love to win this is my first garden I would love to try to grow this bean.

  4. I've accepted your challenge. I don't like spinach, so I've chosen to neglect it. I'll send you a photo of my spinach. It will be a photo of a bare patch in a raised bed: I neglected to plant it.

  5. You are so cheerful about the heat coming! I am resigned to alternately bailing my containers of excess storm water and turning around and watering them between rains all summer. And moving plants in and out of intense sun.
Thank you for the reminder on the sweet potato soil requirement. Last year, the rich soil in my containers grew super healthy vines which the whiteflies absolutely loved, but produced lots of very thin tubers, only a few usable ones. Maybe I will use the sweet potato to enrich the soil in my Community Garden bed this summer, and skip the backbreaking work of tilling in of soil amendments.
Thank you for another great video. Congrats on all the new fruit trees! BTW, what is that variety of Swiss Chard you mentioned that is going perennial in your garden?

  6. Hi! Love your channel! Thanks for sharing all your experience. I heard you talk about the Thai soldier beans in your video with Jacqueline on Wild Floridian. I immediately looked into them. They look great! But the closest thing I could find locally was asparagus beans. But no one suggests asparagus beans can used as an edamame sub. That’s the catch for me with the Thai soldier. I love edamame as a nighttime snack. Hoping I can get my hands on some. Thanks again for the knowledge you share! I greatly appreciate it!

  7. Great info! I"ve learned I can grow bell peppers, New Zealand spinach, amaranth, and sweet potatoes in our container garden. I just received roselle seeds, so will try that this summer, along with sesame.
