First wombok harvest for the season. This crop was planted out 3rd February. Considering the heatwave we had in early March the crop did fairly well. Lesson learnt from this crop is to increase the spacings between the plants. This variety is quite large so 40cm spacing between plants is required. I had them at closer spacings and a few of the heads started rotting as we got close to harvest. Always learning from my mistakes in the garden
