one question — how do you keep the buckets connected? with soda bottles you can screw the cap back on to hold it in place.. how do you get it to work here?

Some bottles now sold are BPA free. All my water bottles are.

Is it safe to store rainwater for plants? cuz mine is #7 plastic which isnt it toxic?
