Planting Colorful Spring Planters | Gardening with Creekside

  1. I would buy several of the above the ground planters and the green house you just put up!Plus, more plants!

  2. Your tulips are beautiful🌷can’t wait to start planting here in PA. What do you think about Miracle Grow products?

  3. Our last frost date isn't until April 30th here in Western Washington state zone 8b… we have had a few days hanging around 60 ° but I don't trust the weather yet ! Lol. So happy to watch others planting annuals, thank you .

  4. We had similar weather recently, was in the 70s and i was melting, though come September 70F will feel wonderfully cool. Gorgeous projects!

  5. I never realized how large the new bidens blooms are now. They make for a beautiful filler for containers.

  6. Can you advise us sometime of how to pot up shrubs in containers that will stay in them permanently? What type of potting soil? I’ve heard you should put 3/4 potting soil and 1 part soil conditioner to maintain the shrubs health. I live in Ohio zone 6a but watch your channel almost exclusively for gardening information as I too have clay soil. Thanks in advance.

  7. Always enjoy your videos but today I was so distracted by the beautiful colors of your tulips 🌷

  8. From a distance they look almost like anemones, I’ve never heard of bidens, such an unfortunate name for a pretty plant 😂😂😂

  9. I love the land and sea gourmet compost also , but at almost $20 a bag from my local nursery ( the only place I find it) no can do. Just a little to to dress is all I can do😢

  10. I love all of your container ideas. Unique Stone urns are beautiful but too pricey. Can you offer a less expensive planter that is not plastic and will last? I know the planters are an investment but still too expensive.

  11. Hi Jenny! I love your videos! I look forward to them every day! I have a question about my confederate jasmine vine: can I use Plant Tone on it? It looks horrible since we had that deep freeze this past winter. I'm in Alabama zone 8. Thank you!

  12. We still have a month or more to go before planting annuals in the ground here or else they might become ice pops lol. I’ll just enjoy watching you Jenny, and planning on what’s going to be popped into my containers for color and variety in the flowerbeds too. Enjoy your Spring; I know you’re loving it.

  13. Can you share what brand/name or where you bought your hori hori knife? I'm in zone 7A and we are just now starting to get animals in at our nursery. Can't wait to put some in!

  14. Jenny, why not transfer violas with 3 more months of life, to your woods line or sunny secluded spot, verses throwing away? Many of us are buying clumps similar to clumps you just tossed now in March. They were perfectly viable. Plus, our regular compost is costly at $8 bag. Land and Sea at $24- $28 a bag, is outrageous, not available, and to many of us just one bag is a luxury purchase during inflationary times. Since spring flowers are so short lived, shouldn't planter box soil be switched out for summer flowers since they need fresh nutrients the most to last until November? Wish we all had YT funds to splurge to buy and toss so readily.

  15. I love Bidens so will be looking forward to this new variety next year! Waiting for a bit more sun and a little less rain here in the Pacific Northwest but have planted some violas for spring color in the meantime. Getting antsy for all the gardening fun coming up!

  16. I had a dream last night that my family visited Creekside Nursery! Also mixed into the dream we got baby chicks LOL. You can tell I've been watching your videos a lot!!

  17. I’m gonna have to notify #ProvenWinners tell them to rename the plants called Biden 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 that name is disgusting! What that family has done to this country! Why do you keep repeating that heinous name?
