There is a more mounding lantana now, is that what you are planting?
Discovered Lantana last year along with gompherna. Both will be returning in the garden this season.

Bougainvillea and Mexican bird of paradise are super drought tolerant and have a lot of color there are also Prickly pear cactus that are thornless and beautiful in the summer just a few suggestions
Your gardens are looking great and will shine for your May tour. Have you seen the Kinsman Garden Co. border columns (a post with a coco liner basket on top)? A DIY Janey and Jason version would work beautifully in your front garden to add even more color with height!

Yes, our newly planted lantana were drowned by the rains though I love the new colours and lower spreading types. May just treat them as annuals. SF Bay Area z9b/Sunset z17.

Yup, this video definitely sounded like a MASTER GARDENER was our instructor! You go, girl! You've come so far in such a relatively short period of time! You should be very proud of yourself! And I know that Jason & your girls and your parents are very proud, too! We're in SoCal (Riverside County) and I'm SOOO tempted to make the trip up to the Pence tour just to see you and your garden in person. But then I think about how many plants I could buy for my own garden for the same amount of $$ I'd spend on that trip…😂. Glad to hear you're filming yours and another garden that day! ❤
