  1. I can't even think of an interview I've enjoyed more. I had no idea Robert was so much of the driving force behind STP. Fantastic job, Rick. Thank you.

  2. Ron DeLeo is the man. What a cool guy, always knew of him from a distance as a rock fan and growing up in the 90’s but getting to know more about him from this interview was awesome. Down to earth, classy, gracious, kind, incredibly talented, great stuff.

  3. Great interview! Rick has been knocking it out of the park. I've enjoyed each and every one. I teared up a little when Robert was talking about the times we came from.

  4. Love that a dude with this level of talent seemingly has absolutely no ego whatsoever. He's so chill. Much respect

  5. What a great interview. I would like to have heard about the Hollywood Vampires connection. Robert seems like a pretty chill guy. I always appreciate someone who shares the wealth and knowledge. He also seems like a true fan.

  6. Huge fan of the DeLeo bros and STP. Robert is such a super cool dude, loved this interview. He is still SO digging playing the amazing stuff he created all those years ago. It’s nice when your heroes live up to your image of them.

  7. yes:: there simply aren't very many erics, perhaps fewer neils, and precious few ringos, but you boys were lucky you found yours, ha ha~

  8. hey: 'conveniency' rhymes with 'leniency', and they also might connect in other, less-obvious ways, but who cares, right? they had great timing, rhyming and they knew what they didn't like:: if there was any doubt, then they'd best-try-not to leave-that-out, right? at least in spirit:: they got soul, and they wore it well:: for a good, long spell, yeah?

  9. I find it very interesting that you have been mentioning Jobim (Antonio Carlos Jobim) quite frequently in your interviews. I wonder why that is. Jobim is (obviously) a genius.

  10. Rick is geeked. This is great. The DeLeos are an untouchable force. Not grunge….ever.

  11. In all these years Never heard an interview with R DeLeo before. I read a short one way back when. Anyway he is articulate and open about things. Kind looks like that guy on CSI, Christopher Meloni.
