  1. I have had so much trouble trying to grow strawberries here in Phoenix. Thank you for these great tips! 🍓

  2. Thank you for this video! I’m 9b but right at that 3500’ boundary (just north of Tombstone.) Looks like I need to get moving if I want to get some strawberries in a grow bag so they can overwinter.

  3. I was gifted a couple of greenstalks and am planning on putting strawberries in one and herbs in the other. Have you used these planters? If so, I would love your take on them (or maybe even a video 😉).

  4. I had an epiphany with shade cloth. Apparently in the dry heat, there's a big difference between temperatures in the shade vs out. In Houston, it's 100% humidity for several months in the summer, and there's really no difference between the shade and sun. I finally realized the shade cloth is to lower temperatures! It seems really obvious now, but I figured it was more to do with the sun. Anyway, I think this year I need to try bringing my strawberries in the house for the Summer instead. I can't think of any other ways to cool them down.

  5. I don’t know anything about gardening but I learned so much from this video! Thank you!

  6. I messed up and never picked the first strawberries off like u said at the the beginning. How do I get them to become bigger?

  7. I ran into your video while browsing the Gardener’s Supply website: your well-organized, clear, comprehensive, and perfectly illustrated presentation with no wasted time had me running to YouTube to find your channel. THANK you so much!

  8. One tip I read to discourage birds from eating the strawberries is to paint small rocks to look like a ripe strawberry, when the birds try to peck at these rocks, they get discouraged and will leave the rest of the crop alone.

  9. Wow beautiful garden loves to have one I am new to planting strawberry here in Philippines my strawberry are still young I don't know if I can have it bear fruit , from your information I might do the same.

  10. I’m no expert but I found that the ones that I put in deep cloth buckets or in my cold frame survived the winter. Those in regular hanging baskets all died. When I said deep buckets , I meant I left 8 inches of height just … blank, which provided a wall of sorts against the wind etc
