I haven't been to IKEA in a while. I somwanr to go but money is tighter than tight right now and going to IKEA always equals ending up with more things than you had planned, at least for me. So I enjoyed living vicariously through you and walking through the store with you! 😁 Also, I never knew it says "hejdå" at the end of the store. I always end my vlogs with "hejdå" (because I'm Swedish but do my vlogs in English). Fun! 🙂

Hi Kristen, and thank you for this video. I also love walking around Ikea stores. I always find something nice to buy. In your video, I saw a sofa I have been looking for. Just the style I´d love to have and after 9 years of looking around I can say: " There it is." You know Ikea comes from Sweden and as a northern European myself I can usually see the new stuff

I’m curious….if you shop at an actual store….do they deliver it to you same day? Just had a horrendous experience with their site canceling our entire order as it was all of a sudden on back order.
@KristenMcGowan : any recommendations for a kitchen rug/runner ? Have hardwood floors in kitchen and need something that wont harm the floors and long enough (ie 59-79’’). Thanks

Hi Kristen. I simply love your quides. Please help me decide. I am moving into an open plan apartment. Ceiling hight is 2.8mt,Need your quide ,I seen a beautiful 2mt height faux plant and 1.6 mt , not sure which height will be perfect.

How the hell do you get out?
Last time I furnished my entire house in IKEA stuff was 2016.
I'm shocked about their prices.
Affordable???
It's just as expensive as everything else.
IKEA pays the workers in Asia (where most of this stuff is being produced) the same they did before the pandemic and Asian prices for gas have not gone up. So shipping it here cost IKEA the same.
So what would be the logical explanation that everything is now twice +as much as it was 2019???
IKEA is cashing in big time, taking full advantage of people's stupidity.
I also noticed that they simply discontinued their best seller Ektorp sofa, gave it a new name and sell it now for almost 50% more.
A simple basket $40 and a simple table lamp $70? That is insane!
This stuff is directed to millennials who are clueless.
I have been shopping for 40 years at IKEA in Germany a and US.. But these prices are insulting unless their are now a designer store.
