Mid-Spring No Dig Garden Update (NZ Edible Garden October 2020)

In this months no dig garden video you’re going to see all the changes some spring sunshine makes!
First, I start by showing the top garden, all the wildflowers and what’s growing
The next thing I show is our new chicken coop and I talk all about green mulching and hardening off my summer seedlings.

  1. Lovely spring time garden video and don’t you just love listening to the birds at this time of year! Regards Maria

  2. Really enjoyed touring your spring garden – full of beauty, food and life – great to see another spring garden too. My borage self seeds everywhere too and I just cant bring myself to pull any of it out as the bees love it so much. But i'll need to as it does take a lot of space, I like the idea of chopping it as mulch. Happy gardening!!

  3. To fight the aphids what I learned is using water pressure, I found them on my kale and really helps :). Your garden looks awesome.

  4. Thank you so much i always get excited to watch when I see your videos pop up. I have learnt so much from you 👌 thank you 🙏

  5. Howdy. Just found your channel after following an overseas one, and thought “I wonder if anyone is doing a garden vlog here…” Your garden is pretty much the opposite of mine (I still have stuff in rows, raised beds etc, haven’t got to the free form stage yet) and I think a fair bit bigger. Much more variety and looks great as well. Very nicely done video and great to see how others are going locally at the same time. Thanks. Subscribed!

  6. Obviously you live up north. My garden down South is still subject to frosts so it's all about racing out and covering things at night. I'm trying no dig this year but everything is still in rows. Using compost as mulch.
Great to see a nz vlog.

  7. Must be about time for another Vlog post aye? We were chuffed to see there was a kiwi doing these. Keep up the great work – very inspiring!

  8. How come you're not making any more videos? I'm out here in Stokes Valley hanging out for the next video. It was amazing to see how another person gardens in the capital AND with a shady section like mine. Please make more – they're ace!
