  2. Oh my….you are truly dedicated and are an amazing problem solver….well done. I think most people would have stopped and waited for the sun to come out to dry things out. You did an amazing job…..well done!!! Now….go for a wonderful dinner and your favourite beverage!! You and Natia have a plan, and it will all come together….you have done so much and is is coming together.

  3. I love your blog! You are refreshingly honest. Keep up the good work. It’s all looking great. 🍀

  4. Nice how you say it is , I know with our project life is not a bed of roses and there many downs sometimes than ups. But you just have shrug it off and carry on. Yes been there with bad backs you think you can do it …But your body says NO. . At least now you have put the drains in which will help and the cover plus the gravel ,that will do the job for the mud now. So well done on moving all the gravel by yourself. I think you need to watch something better than Teletubs🤣🤣. Have a glass of vino .See you next week😘

  5. Good to see you made it through the mud (ugh), from here on it will seem like easy street when you work in the garden!!! No one minds seeing the challenges Content Creators go through…it adds drama, so please do express yourself openly. And of course…emphasizing successes balances out the challenges and will be the thing viewers remember most. Which you did a great job in this episode…Well Done!!!

  6. Feel your pain! The back looks fanastic, major transformation, you've come a long way. Love your blog, and always look forward to the next one.

  7. Too bad you didn't use Shou Sugi Ban to preserve the wood. It would have made it last a lot longer.

  8. Be encouraged you have don’t so well and worked so hard .Take a minute and enjoy your surroundings and the beautiful church beside you .It looks like the most beautiful place.

  9. You have a great, unique presentation style which is so entertaining. Your dry sense of humour is just up my street. Your doing a great job and i look forward to every episode. p.s. you and Nadia are such a lovely couple with a great rapour,, I wish you both great joy.

  10. Wow that helped a lot! It's getting better every week. Good luck with the next bags of gravel this week. Subscribers will come when the algorithms start to like your videos as much as we do!

  11. Keep this style, don´t change. I am sick and tired of all those super positive, enthusiastic and "jolly" you tube chanels.
    Cheers from Sweden

  12. Pace yourself. Speaking of not being 25 any more, 10 year increments get shorter the older I get! When I think of what I used to be able to accomplish in a day…

  13. Shouldn't the perforated pipe go in the trench, under the plastic, to help the water drain out to the street?

  14. We can only offer you words of encouragement Marius, if you need rest, rest. Listen to your body.🙏🏽There is always tomorrow to crack on with these hard manual tasks. Take is steady and thank you once again for this content, we don’t watch any other channels, we appreciate your honesty. We have been through it, we are still going through it. Looking much better at the end of this episode, well done, keep going, it will all be worth it in the end.

  15. Great job! Keep it up…looking much much better and might as well bite the bullet and do it right! You will be glad you did and proud of the job done and will last your lifetime. Its gonna be fab!

  16. Don't be too disappointed ,, spring is on its way and it will be better days ,Don't worry ..bon courage.

  17. I would’ve thought the French drain would need to be closer to the building but I’m far from being an expert of any sorts.

  18. I love your droll sense of humour. You say what a lot of us feel when faced with tedious work. Don't change. Everything is coming together. cheers from Oz. xx

  19. Another great episode of your home renovation. Keep up the amazing work you do. With your usual charm and humor. Don’t let the weather, mud get you down, summers on its way 🎉

  20. You're doing a good job. I see progress. The weather can't be helped, but it's getting closer and closer to the goal every day.

  21. As someone who is already at the end of this journey (we bought and fully renovated ourselves “a 300 year old shack” near Montpelier) I offer words of encouragement and tell you that the end will be worth it. For us it’s been a 6 year journey (we were building part-time) but now we get to relax and enjoy the fruits of our work. Yours is already shaping up and it’s only going to get better, quicker and easier.

As a side note, we ended covering half of our yard with exactly the same river rock pebbles. It’s great as it dries up really quickly and feels very nice on the feet. The only downside is that the weeds do end up growing on top of it but this is usually a problem around early spring and most of the weeds can be quickly pulled as the roots stay within the pebbles.

Keep up the great work and continue posting new videos. Views and people will come. Cheers.

  22. Onwards and upwards my friend! Take a few minutes out of your day to watch episode 1, and see how far you have come already.

  23. Keep it real big fella!
Physical and mental health is important. If that means taking a day or three off…so be it. As for the other renovating vloggers – from what l watch, very few, if any, work as hard as you.

  24. I had a hard time finding you I keep getting the TV show this old house. Maybe that's the reason? I had to use portugal first in the title.

  25. You've made a lot of progress despite the weather it's obviously going to look great for you and Nadia. If nothing else it's great to see you all tooled up with your tool belt looking all manly an' stuff, a bit of eye candy for us old pensioners. lol

  26. Hi Marius sorry I thought I had put our names on the 4 coffees we are Steve and Wendy Hill from Wales. Love your down to earth approach and showing not only the good things but the bad too. Catch you soon

  27. Great stuff!…..you are such a hard worker and I do worry for your back…..Best Wishes and looking forward to no more mud!!!!
