The best garden treatment for powdery mildew on all plants #garden #vegetablegarden #gardentips

This is the only treatment you need against powdery mildew on #squash plants (or any other plant). Squash plants are very prone to leaf diseases especially #powderymildew . This fungus thrives on the surface of wet leaves and proliferates in my hot/humid #Florida garden. Spray with 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide per gallon of water to clean and disinfect the leaves.

  1. Thank you! Something else I heard about and tried was milk, mixed with water, Forget the ratio, but you can find it online, it changes the PH and the powdery mildew can't survive. I tried it with milk that was just starting to go off, smelled but not curdled, and it worked. I liked because it couldn't harm any insects. Peroxide and water should be even easier though. Going to try it next time it shows up in my garden.
