  2. I want to make this set up on my deck next summer….I live in Iowa, so will not survive the cold, but I want to plant tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, eggplant…want to try walking onions….love the composting idea!! I had a huge garden where we lived before and composted the old fashion way…but this looks so much easier ….especially since I am a senior citizen now lol!. Of course I will plant herbs and some flowers!! Thanks for sharing!! Love your channel!!!

  3. Robbie and Gary : I started volunteering in a community garden ; the 30 feet by 50 feet raised beds I am working on have no worms ; the soil is sandy/ silty and has no worms ; I've dug down two feet to place organic matter, but , still no worms !!!! Should I hunt for worms and put them in the 2 and a half foot high raised beds !!!!????

  4. Robbie my granddaughter and I just love watching u she's trying talking to u this time watching ur video lol

  5. Beautiful video!!!! I’m so happy you update your deck garden cz that’s my favorite. And every time I watch your video, I always have new idea to improve my garden. Thank you and love you 💕🍀

  6. My walking onions are coming up and doing great so far! Thanks MS. Robbie. Would never have started those without you sharing your knowledge in videos!

  7. Do you have a local FB page that you can see if someone is missing that cat? Hate to see a coyote get it.

  8. Hi Robbie, you can easily root the tricolor sage from cuttings. I did it because how pretty it looks too. 🙂 Another way is that it'll expand on its own attempting to take over your yard and you can just pull the ones it rooted itself.

  9. Robbie this is so inspiring. I have looked for that purple kale and come up short. Any tips where to get it or seeds?

  10. Good Morning Robbie. I am a new follower, and I am so happy that I found you. My husband and I live in Southern California in O.C. and we are technically Zone 9….but I am one of those people who creates the climate I need to grow what I want. (Large trees can change the temps) My hubby and I have been busy in our gardens for years (part-time). A year ago I was able to
retire and am now anxious to get busy in the yards. We actually saw the school district tree trimmers this morning at the school by our home and asked for the cuttings, and to our surprise they said they would be happy to drop them off. We moved the cars, laid out tarps and are just waiting for their arrival. We plan to put the wood chips in all of our flower beds. We have flowers/veggies together. It should all have time to work/feed the gardens before the rains all come this winter. We are so excited to see the changes happen to our yards. Also, I can hardly wait to hit the Dollar Tree and 99Cent store in the spring after watching that video you made as well! Great ideas. Our gardens are very visual to the tract home neighborhood, so I have to keep everything tidy…this will be so fun and I can hardly wait to see how much better our veggies and flowers grow. (it is good for flower too I assume) 🙂 Have a wonderful day Robbie and Gary.

  11. Love your garden and your videos. Help! Question: What is the electrical wand thingie (technical word, hah! 🤔🤔🤔) you use for melting holes in pots and your hummingbird feeders?

  12. Hello to everyone from the North of Germany. My garden is bigger than the amount of time I can spare to care for it . The soil is clay, dries out in the winds very easily and then gets too hard to do anything. Our weather is changing year by year which means that we get more dry winds and either no rsin for weeks or lots of rain within a few days. And I don't have time to look after my compost heap as I should ! So your idea of composting in containers seems to be fine for me. Can I do the same in flat garden beds. I can imagine it works for raised beds. But how could I improve my existing and planted flat beds? Help would be great. Thank you.

  13. Robbie, I have a question now. We got our wood chips delivered. Yah! On existing areas, I have trees, bushes, flowers….can I fill the area up with the wood chips completely or do I need to leave a bare area around the base of those plants? I don't want to suffocate/kill them. PLEASE ANSWER…THANK YOU IN ADVANCE ❤

  14. Completely Enjoyed the tour of your BEAUTIFULLY BOUNTIFUL Garden; with High Quality HD Video!😄 Love what You've done with Your Environment. Perpetual Success & God Bless!❤👑🕊

  15. Robbie and Gary, we actually received our wood chips yesterday and wanted to ask you, if it is NORMAL to have a whole bunch of little flies, way more than we used to?????? I was sort of assuming that because it all smells pretty strong around here with all of the wood chips in both the front and the back yards, we are drawing a lot more attention from those critters. PLEASE TELL ME if it is normal or not. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I hope you can answer soon, I don't know any other way to talk to you and I am really needing your advice on two of my other questions posted earlier this morning. Appreciate your time, thank you.

  16. Thank you. I learn at least one new thing from each of your videos. I am practicing your techniques.
