This time, we have made a video showing Mr. Yamaguchi taking care of the three gardens he has created in the past.
Please take a look at them, as you will see some beautiful gardens.

Amazing work! I particularly loved the last garden, and the guitar music just combined perfectly with it. I wonder what the name of that theme is. Congratulations.

Hello from Ukraine =)
What I've noticed is that Japanese landscaping within the context of their culture and general aesthetic sensibility, always manages to look peaceful and contemplative. Serene, gentle, inviting and incredibly successful in getting minimalism to evoke a sense of relaxation and a happy, inward-looking, intelligent and calm atmosphere. When most Westerners come at this from the 'top down' approach (ie; ham-fisted, enthusiastic outsider who is superficial about it and fundamentally unable to TRULY understand Japanese culture, history & values, and the profound reasons behind their aesthetics) it goes horribly, almost comically wrong. The mood is not there. It's a failure the discerning eye– and the Japanese eye– can immediately recognise. As an appreciative outsider, they're looking at the style superficially and imitating it– even if they've done a bit of scholarly work as gardeners. It's not a criticism per se; Japanese culture is almost an impenetrable area of study for foreigners, even intensely passionate, respectful ones like myself. Anyhow, my point is that when foreigners attempt 'Japanese-style' courtyards and landscaping it just looks like council-funded renovations to the local Civic Hall's car park garden. Or else it comes off as sombre, morose, sparse, sad and depressing. Outsider's just cannot get it right and coming at it as a design aesthetic only misses every point of critical importance. I should start a blog called 'World's Most Depressing Japanese-Influenced Gardens'.
最後の溶岩石にシューって水が出ていたのは、定期的に散水する装置なんですか?
それともこの時だけ散水する為?
服了
Belíssimo 🌲
Love japanese garden
Question. How much fertilizer do you use in Japan. The gardens are clean, no organic waste. How well is organic life under the ground doing? Using compost?
Lindo seu trabalho, por favor traduza os vídeos para o português Brasil
Nice
That last one is from another planet! beyond beatifull… its a magazine picture, a true work of art!
What is the name of the tree @12:05?
I learn so much from each video. Even though I don't have a Japanese-style garden, the techniques used to prune trees and plants, and the way the stone is worked are inspirational!
All the gardens were wonderful, but the last shot of the last worksite was a particularly beautiful ending to this video. The moon wall lantern was really the crowning touch to this artwork. Imagine the peace and beauty this garden would give you everyday if you lived there. Lovely work as always!
Love it…Beautiful..Thank you for sharing
炭壁最高!

At 12:23 that looks like "princess pine" that we see on the forest floor here in the northeast of the USA. I have seen it in the northeast corner of the state of Pennsylvania and now also encounter it here in southern New Hampshire. When I was a child we used to make wreathes of it for Christmas decor. The other possibility is that it is a type of ground cedar….
The charcoal walls give the feeling of being in a ravine.
