Ugh, we inherited all the trees in our yard and lots of saplings like yours that just languish. Your other trees will be happy with the extra room to breath. Love the baby chicks! I'm so sorry you lost one. They look beautiful!

We had chickens and hubs always wanted them to free range. I struggled to keep them from shredding my bedding plants. We had a run but he would not let me keep them confined. My favorite girl was named BokBok. Sadly, the insistence they be free range resulted in easy pickings by hawks.

Jenny I’m with you when my husband suggests the grandsons run the chainsaw. I tell him no, then he tells me “Lynn, they are not babies anymore at 23 and 20”. “Well I guess the two older ones can but not the 16 year”.
