Hi Garden Friends!

In today’s video I will be unveiling the mystery of pre sprouting ranunculus. I will show how to pre soak the corms, then shallow plant them in soil to help them sprout. If you have never planted ranunculus before this is a perfect beginner guide for first steps in unveiling the mystery of pre sprouting ranunculus. I also show pictures of the different varieties of ranunculus I am pre sprouting.

Ranunculus are a cold loving flower and for growers in the north the best time is now to pre sprout ranunculus in late winter to get them out in the garden as soon as the soil can be worked and protect them with mulch and frost cloth or greenhouse. For people in the south in zone 7 on up can plant them in the fall for them to bloom in early spring.
