  1. Lovely!!
We have Golden Ragwort blooming in our woods at the bottom of a hill. I will have to keep an eye on them to gather seeds.

  2. I'm in southern Ontario and a lot of our natives are the same! Yours are blooming earlier though lol. Love to see it!

  3. Can ragwort tolerate spring flooding? I have a slope that floods in the spring about once a week. Way less so other seasons. Maybe ragwort is my answer to help prevent erosion.

  4. I learn something new every time I tune in to your channel. The Eastern Redbud is beautiful and I love the blooms on the trunk! WOW!

  5. Spring flowering natives are so welcomed after winter! One of my favorites is bloodroot (sanguinaria canadensis). We found a few small plants in our yard when we moved into our house 38 years ago. The flowers are the purest white. I'm so surprised that it grows and thrives in one of the hottest driest spots in our yard. Love all the plants you are growing. I have a fothergilla major, but unfortunately, the deer, true to form, do not read the deer resistant plant list and have eaten all the flowers in previous years. This past winter, I put a wire cage around it and am enjoying my imprisoned blooms this spring. (Baltimore zone 7b)

  6. You've got all the things! Fun to see them in action – I'm still building up our spring bloomers, so nice to at least see them virtually!

  7. I may be mistaken but it looked like you have had Green & Gold (Chrysogonum virginianum) in bloom. I am loving mine as an agressive native ground cover
