In this video, I will show you our harvest of Satsuma sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes grow from slips. I made a video (see below) showing how to start slips. The slips take 3-4 weeks to develop. I also made a video (below) showing how I planted the slips in a grow bag. I planted the slips in the spring and harvested the sweet potatoes in the fall. As you can see, the harvest was fruitful. I love my sweet mothers comments as we harvested.
