  1. The carpet coat turns really nice ! Maybe you can do a cover for a little pillow with the extra of your carpet coat. Or maybe a hand bag would be nice with a kind of a leather strap ?

  2. Hi Brooke
Love your sweater coat ..beautiful colors!!!
That hydrangea sweater is gorgeous love it !!!
    Love your podcasts
    Always informative !!!
The Patton linen Is it a nice to work with ?
Have a great week ahead and
Hope allergies subside soon for you
    😊💝🇨🇦🇨🇦

  3. The jacket story has been so fun to follow and I love what you’ve decided to do! Very cool. Gardner’s world is my fav and honestly what got me inspired to redo my back yard into a zoned garden last year. I was actually amazed how much I knew once I started and it’s all from watching them and yes, the Monty crush is legit. Own it. I do. 😂

We installed raised beds at the end of the season last year and so far have just focused on building really great soil – I’ll do my first planting late summer (just some herbs) to test it all out then trying bigger plantings next spring. I like the slow easy time line of gardening. I love podcasts with variety! My favs are (you), Tales From Cuckoo land, Sandy By The Lakeside and for gardening check out Growfully with Jenna – she’s amazing ❤❤❤❤❤

  4. Gorgeous content as ever ❤you did such a fab job on the blouse/chemise and also the jacket felting/reconstruction … so exciting and rewarding for you I’m sure ❣️also loved the gardening section so thank you for it all 🙏💃💥🧶❣️🪴❣️🙏

  5. Thank you for a lovely episode. Personally I love all the sewing and gardening content too. Even If I don’t or can’t, it certainly informs your knitting. Also what you did to your jacket was nothing short of genius.

  6. I love Kaffe Fassett's designs! I bought that book back in the 80's, it's a gorgeous book! That sweater is a masterpiece, but it's huge, I'm impressed!

  7. I love Gardener’s World too. Monty Don has an interesting story of how he got into gardening. He wrote a book about it, which is on my list. Love your cast, Ahna!❤

  8. OMG, I thought that I was the only one with a crush on Monty Don! 😂 Thanks for sharing these little things from your life – it's so much fun to listen to while I work on knitting/crochet projects. Also, your Kaffe Fasset coat came out beautifully! I'm so glad that it's getting time out in the world. Looks wonderful on you.

  9. OMG! I always loved your Carpet Coat, as you might have gathered from my previous gushing comments about it, but now it's even better. So glad you figured out how to make it more fitted. That is what had kept me from starting one myself, fear of the enormous size. As I'm really petite, it would just have swallowed me. Making standard knitting patterns actually fit is my biggest challenge. Now I feel like I might be ready to give that design a try. And…your Flower Power pullover is gorgeous! Wow! Loving the colors and can't wait to see the finished item. Thanks for the tips on knitting it. Hope your allergies calm down soon! Barbara😍

  10. Honestly the pieces from the coat that you cut would be so pretty as wall hangings!! Or like a pillow cover

  11. I love the carpet coat felted!!! Its sooo good! I think it would also look awesome if you put a zipper in it so you could zip it up! Love everything you make!!! ♥️

  12. I think the extra pieces would make a beautiful project bag. Your new blouse turned out so beautifully. A tip for easy ruffles or gathers is to make two or even three rows of basting/long stitches instead of just one. I resisted for years as it seemed an unnecessary extra step, but I wasted time trying to get the fullness evenly distributed and straight. Extra rows of the gathering stitches make it easy the first time. Also, I love Smoke Bush, very popular where I lived in upstate NY.

  13. Oh my gosh that fabric would make the coolest bag! Also I’m so happy your felting experience turned out well!

  14. Love all of your knitting, crocheting, and sewing projects. You could use the felted coat pieces to make a pillow or some other home decoration. Yes, my allergies have been terrible this year also.

  15. Anna, you are so creative and brave!! I love that you felted and cut your jacket…looks great! I admire you for recycling your sheet…the blouse is exquisite and that rosette…how creative is that!!! Love your podcasts.

  16. Love gardeners world❤ also it’s great for watching while knitting 👩🏼‍🌾😅 if you’re into garden history I really recommend his tour into Europeans gardens from different countries (also on YouTube). These gardens are just so inspiring. I had to watch them for my exam prep since I studied landscape architecture. I never enjoyed exam prepping so much 😊
And your blouse looks amazing and the stitching looks so professional

  17. I enjoyed hearing about your plans for the garden, so cool that you have plants from both your grandparents! And A Song for the Wild-built is such a cute little story!

  18. Your projects are beautiful! You have inspired me to try felting something knitted (intentionally, that is 😅) Just subscribed ❤

  19. I also love doing sewn bind offs💛 your crochet blanket kind of looks like the star stitch. I have made a hat in that stitch. I hope you’ll have your two girlfriends back on to share their knitting again sometime.

  20. OMG! Your blouse is amazing, and I especially love the rose embroidery! Your sweater is really nice too and I have followed your journey of making it! Such an awesome piece! both look great on you! Hugs from Texas!

  21. The ruffled collar on your linen blouse is so perfect! I feel like those kinds of details turn out so beautiful compared to fast fashion versions!

  22. It would look good with the pieces you took off to make into pocket. No need to turn under the seams just crochet attach with a single crochet.

  23. Wow your blouse is beautiful, I just love the little embroidery rose on the front. Love the variety of the podcast ❤

  24. Hello Ana! You look wonderful today 😃 it's like you are glowing 🥰 I love how the carpet sweater came out after felting it 😍 And it got me really inspired to do my own carpet like sweater 😁 I think I might try to wip it today, when Anthon is taking his nape and Theo is at kindergarden 🥰
You like Monty!!? Me too!!! 🤩 The first time I sew one of his garden shows was when he did a short series (3 episodes) on Japanese gardens. And as a nerd of Japan 😍 I just HADE to watch it and after that I loved Japan even more and I got a new garden person I like to follow 🥰🥰 He did one on Italian gardens to and that was quiet interesting to 😃
I hope you will have a wonderful day 🥰❤❤

  25. Your coat was a major win! I love it! Good thing you didn’t listen to us!😂👏🏼. Loved hearing your gardening plans. Your a girl after my heart.

  26. I LOVE the jacket!! suits you so well 😍
also you’re not alone, seasonal allergies have been really bad for me and people around me as well and I’ve heard that this year is a tough one again! 🤧 climate change also seems to make it worse I’ve heard :/
