#roxysjournalofstitchery fountain and pond prompt for down the garden path #roxycreations Monet

Join me as I share my slow stitch fountain and pond for Roxy’s journal of Stitchery: Down the Garden Path project.

This piece builds on my Chateau de Villandry potager which I shared in previous videos, based on the amazing vegetable garden at this French chateau that I visited a number of years ago.

Also sharing my starting work and plans for a piece based on Monet’s garden with a pond and water lilies. Here’s the link to the public domain image in case you would like to stitch along with me.

Cheers,
Christine

  3. Your work is absolutely exquisite Christine x May I ask please – what type of printable transfer paper did you use for your Monet piece and where did you get it from? – It looks amazing

  4. You must have been so worried about Alex, those good test results must come as a welcome relief for you both. Thinking of you as they continue to investigate the electrical issue. I loved seeing your chateau gardens again – using that piece of fabric for the water is inspired! When you showed us your gorgeous Monet piece, I smiled because 'pond' had the same association for me. 🪷 My water lilies scarf is hanging on the back of the chair near me and the wispy willow leaves frame the pond so beautifully. I have been filming my next bit of the garden today, and I am trying 😅to do a pond viewed through the curtain of a willow tree. It was a beautiful scene in my head, is turning our very 'rustic' in reality. 🤣 Regardless, I am enjoying myself immensely! Thank you for your video, I always enjoy looking at your gorgeous stitching and hearing your updates. ❤

  5. This will be so lovely Christine. I love the Monet water lily images. Thanks fo sharing 🦋👋
