Perpetual Harvest in 2023

Ok, check this out, A perpetual grow is a sustainable way to maintain a constant supply of crops or plants. By carefully managing the growth cycle and harvest times, you can create a self-sustaining system that produces fresh and healthy food all year round.

  1. I was doing this over 40 yrs. Ago. If I remember it was Ed Rosenthal that turned me on to this. Either him or Paul Cervantes. Anyway, I started with a mother, but soon went to taking clones from my plants as soon as they were tall enough. From taking the cuttings to starting to veg, about 6 weeks. I started plants every week. I harvested plants every week. They coined it "Sea of Green". Now, that term is used slightly different. It was great, harvesting plants about 16"s tall with 2 branches practically all bud.

  2. Dude Grows – send me some beans to grow down here in Texas. I’m tired of growing trash. Help your southern brothers out 🤣

  3. Great video, saludos from Costa Rica, the weather is really nice right now, about to go to the winter season, I hear you guys coming this week. good timing, enjoy, Pura Vida.

  4. My best results have come from whacking 3 or 4 good cuts from each plant about a week or so before I flip to flower so by the time I flip my clones are rooted out and growing and about 6 weeks later I have some new fat veg plants to take new cuts from and throwing them into flower. That’s only if you found what you like and want to grow but same thing from seed just label really well if your not growing fems

  5. Good to see such a large crowd of elderly folks so interested in growing medicine. Bout to be a community grow room at Shady Acres nursing home! 😂❤

  6. I'm finally learning how to perpetual harvest my problem is that I run outta room in my veg tent I need a 4 by 4 I only have a 2 by 4 for veg and a 4 by 8 flower the real problem I have is picking out strains to grow I need a day time smoke night time smoke and for pain

  7. Man, I wish I had the balls to cut my hair like Dude has his right now. I should invest in a wig that looks like his hair! Good idea

  8. Grambo you’re in trouble… You made Scotty look like the incredible shrinking Man. And the dude like a big Martian head lol. I bet you did it on purpose… Was Scotty talking shit? That’s a good passive aggressive move.

  9. I can’t even imagine what it would take to figure out how to do that in such a little space. I gotta hand it to you guys in the tents. I’m always amazed at what I see. Of course I hear what you spend…

  10. I think this video would’ve been a lot better if there was at least one little joke from Grambo. If you’re gonna tease me, then short me… At least make me laugh about it.

  11. OK I think this is four minutes in. And I heard what I believe is probably Scotty’s fake laugh. But he’s also doing his salesman act so I don’t blame them.

  12. That was some great educational training. You are spot on. I personally like to start seeding right after about a month of switching to 12 12.

  13. I tried, too soon, a perpetual grow. Didn't last long. I was trying to run two 4x4s in a 10×10 room. Just too crowded so now I'm back to 1 tent and a lot less stressing over my grow.

  14. Perpetual in one tent of for the newbs. It sounds great, but it really means less harvest perpetually. LOL. You cannot adjust your light height, humidity, temps, etc. It like cooking in an oven that only has one temperature setting. If you only have one tent, grow one cultivar at a time no matter how many you frow; so they all grow similar and mature at the same times.

  15. Try having none for 3 months while you wait for you next grow to finish, I'll not have any for another 2 months, so 5 months without any😢😢

  16. Nice 👍 I like that idea taking clones from the clone then flip , then theres no need for a mother plant 🪴💚👌✌️

  17. Great info guys. I just finished my 2nd harvest in 3 weeks doing this. Only problem I had was too many generations and different strains going at once. Lesson learned… Heed Dudes warning. I had clones, veg and in flower x2 at different weeks with 2 tents. Had 3 flowering plants under a light behind my bar while the previous run dried. They came out ok luckily. You really need a 3rd tent for drying. Otherwise you have to have a separate drying area. Cheers Kenabyss DGC 🇨🇦

  18. How do I meet other growers to give my excess weed to? Or, maybe get a clone from, or some other give/take situation.

  19. Clone chamber, small nursery to harden off clones, dedicated veg, and 3 flower rooms… yes the growers sickness is progressing 😭🤣💯

  20. Love the video very good information I had a similar setup about 5 years ago when I was able to set up inside. But I had two separate rooms each was about 20 by 30 located in the basement one for veg one for flower of course, I had all my pots labeled by number and I would write them into a notebook so I could keep track of the date they was put into the flower room. Every two weeks I would transfer five to 10 plants into flower and harvest 5 or 10 plants that way I was harvesting every two weeks it was a lot of work but big rewards!

  21. One for your drying to Scotty!! I think that gets overlooked. A dry tent is a must for me.
