  1. As an ambitious seamstress, the cropped cardigan would immediately land in the UFO box. UFO= Un-Finished Objects, 😀

  2. I agree with all you said, but the worst fashion offence, of which you mention Marie-Anne, is the square-necked embroidered top. Just awful! Flip-flops are a big no no. But what about the trend in those furry slides women are wearing, which look like carpet slippers?

  3. Never liked or wore the distressed look. That look made me feel distressed lol. Don't like leggings either.

  4. The only people that should be wearing camo are people in the military

  5. I'm over 60. I was never into high heels. For whatever reason, I have sore feet. I like slipping on Crocs in the summer. I will continue to wear them in my garden, to walk the dog and sometimes to run to the store. (I don't wear them to work though.) – Most of those other trends… good riddance!

  6. I agree with your opinions and I don’t have any of these items in my wardrobe except for a blouse with a square neckline. Mine is very understated as the neckline decoration is the same colour as the rest of the blouse and it is very understated. I usually wear it with a sweater or blazer so it’s not terribly obvious.

  7. My dear “lady” ….. try walking the streets of Europe in those pointed shoes! Agreed, Crocs is a terrible choice …. but that alternative needs serious reconsideration 😖

  8. 'leggings should have never been invented' 😂 I agree ; kept to medieval fancy dress 😉

  9. I have never worn any of the items that go out of fashion, because I did not like them for the same reasons that you mention yourself 😂

  10. I live in Israel and affordable clothing is not always classical. I did find a nice tweed skirt last Fall but the only top I could find to go with it that wasn't that horrible poly knit that is cold in the winter and hot in the summer, was a hoodie. But I was wearing it one day and the weather changed so I was actually glad to have that hood. It's not very bulky so I don't mind wearing it as a casual look. We are starting to get some better clothing that is made in Italy. I found a nice sweater dress, faux turtleneck and it comes to my knees because I'm short. I bought it in 2 colors and I could wear tights or leggings under them. And I even found a few cool and attractive summer dresses. They still have a way to go with color. You don't get much variety in any given season. This spring it seems green is the big thing and I have to watch my greens. Some are good but others, no way.

  11. I'm 61 and love Hoodies. I like the look but I also find myself using the hood when it's chilly or windy out.
    Not giving up legging either.

  12. Leggings are not trousers, and they should not be worn by adults outside their home. Just my opinion.

  13. Thank you for this video. For me – I will never give up of leggings. I work behind computer and each hour I interrupt for doing exercises. So obviously, good, soft leggings are the best option.

  14. If your paying attention to this years fashion trends then you have your head up your but or you are the problem. We see you

  15. Never, ever have I worn or will wear feminine style shoes with a pointed toe. For many of us, they are not only uncomfortable, but unsafe. Can you run from a potential attacker? Can you safely climb stairs or walk across grass or something else outside? Can you balance in them without your ankles wobbling? I wear ‘comfortable shoes” wear arch support. It is a long life if you wreck your feet.

  16. Hand embroidered blouses/dresses such as these Mexican blusas and huipiles aren’t fashion. They’re classic beauties and ART❣️

  17. I’ll never give up bleached jeans, flip flops, or leggings. Your other suggestions are right on. I would add colored hair, huge cheap jewelry, fluorescent colors, fake nails, over embellished buckles on shoes, and fake eye lashes.

  18. I personally never liked any of these trends. All of them are ugly. I can't understand how they were ever in fashion.

  19. You are spot-on! None of those items are flattering and there are so many better options out there. Crocs are hideous and should only be used for gardening or lounging around the house. Flip flops are horrible; I only have one pair that I use solely for showering at my gym and never wear them anywhere else; that slapping sound is so annoying. And ripped jeans? I would never donate clothes to charity with rips in them, so I certainly wouldn't spend money on new jeans that looked like they were ready for the trash can. I love your classic and timeless style, Marie-Anne!

  20. I love hoodies over t shirts with jeans & sneakers. I look put together & very comfortable. I do not like leggings & never have worn them. I do have a khaki jacket with a hood which is my winter coat here in Florida. I love it. Asymmetrical dresses, skirts tops are a no no. Never liked or wore them. So we must agree to disagree on some of your items. Greetings from NYC.
