Vermicomposting is when worms help compost kitchen scraps. I bought 1/2 lbs of red wiggler worms from Will and Allysa, a fabulous young sibling gardening team with the help of their father in Studio City, California in 2022. Within a few months of getting used to balancing the moisture of the bedding, I was making rich and nutrient dense worm tea that became the best natural fertilizer for my garden.
