Jeff! Omg thank you so much! The first Arum just appeared this spring in my new house we bought this April!
I've been trying to ID it online with no luck!
I thought it was either a syngonium or a xanthosoma! 😅
🍀👍🙏 I know yours will do great in your beautiful garden 🏡
Your videos are the highlight to my week.
Surprise! 🌷💚🙃
Oh noooooooo. 🌷💚🙃 gorgeous plants. 🌷💚🙃
Thanks Jeff. 🌷💚🙃
You know I love me some plant delights! They’re the best. I was just there for open garden days, I’m going again in a few days, they have the coolest plants and the gardens are a dream! 😍❤️
You bought a Waikiki, I feel like that's my fault for asking about it when you got that Etsy order.🤣Too bad they didn't have the Light Pillar.
Thank you so much for this introduction to that business and these plants!
So many beautiful new plant babies, thanks for sharing Jeff! Happy growing! ❤
We are getting rain tomorrow 😅 one good thing majority of California is out of the drought 💃🏻🌦️🕺🏻
Great haul! Waikiki is literally everywhere down here this year. $15 for a 3 gallon pot at Walmart, $7 for a quart sized pot. I have 3 in the ground now and so far so good.
Thai giants get huge down here, as does mammoth and jacks giants. They are fairly common plantings.
Have you tried to remove the fiber off the trunks on the trachys? To me, when you take the fiber off they look more tropical.
Got some shampoo ginger rhizomes in the mail today to trial. They are supposed to flower in summer – fall. Still have the spectabile, but cant get it to flower in the ground.
Plants Delight is an easy car ride away from me and their Juniper Level Gardens are supposed to be amazing. I really have no excuse to get over to one of their open houses.
Wait a second, did the new green umbrella get broken? I love that thing!
Look forward to seeing you get a Waikiki . I got one last year and another a couple months ago. Trying to figure out optimum light and water I though it might like wet feet but not sure. Keep us updated on your success with this plant please. It is very beautiful to enjoy
Love the new plants. I’m excited for you.
I found a huge pot of wakki at Walmart three months ago before it was even warm outside but I’m in Florida
Great haul! I need that Waikiki!
Hey Jeff! Pretty sure ALL the rubber band in my house are from PDN… LOL! I got that Survivor Taro when it came out last fall or whenever and kept it as a houseplant over the winter, grewfast enough indoors to keep enough foliage to keep the spider mites at bay- just by cutting the worst leaves off. I can’t wait to plant mine! Great to know about the heat and drainage for the LEUCOCASIA! Tips arching down… what are you chuckling at Jeff, LMAO! I’m glad you got a ‘Lil Wag’ Palm, I was looking at it but didn’t want to get any more trachys just yet. I do have regular Arum italicum; Great plant. Haven’t gotten jet black wonder, our taste in plants is pretty damn similar. I really want that Peltendra ‘Purplicious’ for my pondless waterfall.
So the Waikiki at my local garden center I will be going back to grab it this weekend
Elephant Ears are great minus the fact that they are aphid magnets! If you overwinter indoors, like I did in my basement (zone 7a), be prepared to spray and clean the leaves weekly. I ended up sending mine to dumpster heaven. I would only grow them outdoors.
Sorry this is a bit off topic but I have a sago palm that has white cotton looking stuff on part of the ball spikes coming up. I can’t find anything that specifies whether this is normal or not. TIA!!
Fun unboxing. Thanks!
How did the Silver Lady miniature tree ferns fare over winter in the grow space?
😺✌️
Nice sharing. long-term interaction. 🔔
My elephant ear bulbs sprouted over the past couple of weeks and one of them is about 12 inches tall with a nice little leaf on it looking so cute so I just potted them up carefully and I’m really glad I watch this video several times so I didn’t overwater! I’m super excited to see how they’ll do since I’m growing them from bulbs! ❤️🌱🪴
