  1. Your marigolds from last year could have won a trophy! ❤ I used to not save seeds. But this year I am! The price of a small 4-pack of annuals are ridiculous! How discouraging for new gardeners, especially. Thx for sharing, Leigh. Always a pleasure to see what you're up to & learn from you. I've been gardening a long time, but there's always more to learn.

  2. Hello Neighbor😊
Thank you for your educational video!
I never knew how to seed save marigolds flower tops!
I have fabric 10gal pot so I'm going to grow flowers in them also.
    Thank you for the ideas❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊

  3. I LOVE the marigolds! I have some seeds to start in my garden this year as well, so excited! I like both, but if you had to pick are you team African marigold or team French marigold?

  4. I love your intros and ending edits, the music is amazing and the imagery is beautiful! THANK YOU for creating amazing content!

  5. Can anyone help me? Last year my cucumbers did not produce nearly as well as in all the years past. I don’t know why, I understand not letting them ripe to much to avoid the plant stopping, could there be any other issue? I noticed a small amount of white powder-like stuff on some of the leaves. Any help or suggestions is appreciated!

  6. They’re so beautiful. My dad always had so many Marigolds all around the garden. He never told me why 😂 I found out when I began gardening on my own. I love all of those flowers. The only one I don’t have is buckwheat. I’m trying to grow chamomile this year. In the meantime I bought a bag of dried flowers. I’m trying it for anxiety like your parrot lol. Thank you so much for the bug spray tip. I’m already so bit up by the mosquitoes

  7. I didn’t get to them today. There is a large tub of dried seeds of all kinds and I have to dig it out, but that’s why they make tomorrows. SIL will visit tomorrow with grandson and I will send them around to plant everywhere 😅. Love the marigolds as I remember it was the first flower I learned as a kid to collect seed. They sure do brighten the yard in the fall and just like that we get a freeze. They tend to keep going a bit though. Good to know about making pyrethrum spray from them.
You just got our cold wet weather we had over weekend.
Oh, I have the same borage and can’t wait to grow it! Been awhile since I have.
I will be concentrating on saving veg seeds this year because the tomatoes are getting crazy price for 10-15 seeds. Like you I have many varieties of tomatoes and peppers to find which are best and stick with it.
The best 2 books to save you money and ensure you have your favorite seeds and multiply plants is one for seed collecting and one for propagation. You never know when a natural disaster could wipe out your favorite heirloom variety.
Nice chat and here’s to everyone seeing colorful blooms in every area of your garden!🌺🥀🌾💐🌸🌼👩‍🌾

  8. I have to say at the end of a big day of gardening I need to take an IB before I can move to shower😂. I think the trick is don’t sit down😂

  9. I collect my marigold heads too. I feel so happy when I get to plant my harvest the next spring!
