I have never… What zone? Mimosa as ground cover blows my mind for some reason.. Is it hard to control?

I saw this a couple of houses down. Zone 10a, Florida. I went straight to the store and bought two little ones. They spread very fast and have to go out there and guide the little tendrils. I’m hoping that section of my yard will fill out in a couple of years. I have mixed it with perennial peanut. And whatever other native stuff wants to pop up. The grass removal is painful though, grass was chocking them and had to pull everything out to the rhizome. I am hoping that once it takes over it also chokes the grass, that’s what it looked like down the street.

    Zone 8b/9 in SC.
Worth trying for damn sure. They’re wild a tad closer to the big rivers and coast.
