  1. I hv just subscribed! Coincidentially my next project would be this type of sit in bench with wood salvaged from 2" × 2" ceiling joist from my old farm house. Thank you very much!

  2. Merci à vous. Plein de super conseils à mon avis (de la part d'un débutant absolu en menuiserie).

  3. Shoyan, I am so grateful to have found your channel. I have learned many good things about working with wood from watching your videos. Also, I enjoy your sense of humor. I wanted to request, if you would be willing to teach us how to make your wood-block edge-chamfering tool. Thank you very much. Please keep your English language channel alive!

  4. It's cool to see a feather a son channel posting videos like this,
Is the son doing the voice over? If so, not bad

  5. Hello sir,
What is the name of the machine and brand that you use at 1:46. I would to bring one to Germany. Thank you 😊

  6. Subscribed already
! Nicely done sir, we want to see more of your projects. 👍👍

  7. Such a great pleasure to watch you work. Thank you.
    Can I ask, how long
did it take you to complete this bench?

  8. The trees in Japan have no branches, just so that their timber has no knots, how nice.

  9. This is just my opinion. It's like watching an English dubed anime. I would rather hear him talk in his native language and read subtitles.

  10. This beauty weighs like a mercedes from the 80's and it's more rigid than a modern F1.
An amazing example of Japanese handicrafts.

  11. I love watching the care and attention to detail. Shoyan has the strongest looking hands when working on his projects , I guess after a lifetime of manual work. Fascinating.

  12. Why build a bench and ruin your health when you can buy a perfectly nice bench at a store? This isn’t Stone Age you can buy things today.

  13. Thank you for sharing your work, sir. I'm happy your goal of 100k subscribers was reached, it is highly deserved. I hope you will get many more.

  14. I'm surprised he didn't use glue for the wedged mortise and tenons. Does he still think that's a good idea?

  15. Beautiful wood work of art, I’ve always loved the Japanese woodworking, more videos please ,thank you

  16. It’s really enjoyable to watch Japanese achieve similar principles as traditional Western woodworking but with different tools and techniques.
Pulling the saws and planes instead of pushing and much greater use of the body for work holding instead of clamps.

  17. May I ask why you are sanding the endgrain edges instead of hand planing it?
