Well Leigh, as my husband always says, “Lowe’s Blows!” What a rip. Corporate gouging at its best. 😂😂😂😂😂
It’s crazy when it comes to retail these days. Stuff that’s bad for the environment, poor quality items, and high price increases.
I have a really good big local garden center 10 minutes from my house. It’s wonderful, the people there are also very helpful. There prices are a little expensive but they always have good quality stuff and I have noticed this year are less expensive then Lowes and big box stores in most areas. Do you have something like this near your house? Or would that be the farmers market I have heard you talk about?
I got grass seed and starter fertilizer there a few days ago.
I LOVE looking at the clearance rack at Lowe’s! At my Lowe’s they don’t go by the chart. They mark everything $1, $3, or $7. I have scored big there before! Some of the stuff is not even in bad shape (just needs water)!
Have you tried Captain Jack’s dead weed brew, or grass weed brew? If so, what are your thoughts?
It’s funny… I go to Lowe’s garden center, and think the EXACT SAME things you are saying in this video to myself.
Exactly! I don’t want to grow grass, I want vegetables. Plus our top of the line Dixon mower we only have 140 hours of light use on since 2014 transmission went out—not happy! I had a used off brand with a bagger that lasted longer! Talk about frustrated. I was never into spending money on lawn ever. To me it’s a waste and overkill and glad I don’t live in an area that expects you to keep pristine grass.
I’ve never been to Lowe’s. 😂when you showed a $20 tomato I almost got weak in the knees😂. 😂😂😂I have a huge bag of marigolds, and a tub full of cosmos, zinnias and others. It pays to start from seed.
I had to stop the video to comment. Those tomatoes in those silly trellises burn my butt. Newbies likely think that a great deal having a built-in trellis.
