  1. Hi Shade

I have several 5 – 10 litre heavy duty black grow pots for things like potatoes, blueberry bushes, etc. that I will never use again, your welcome to have them for free. I don’t think your far from me.

  2. As a kid I remember enjoying helping my grandmother weed her yard, Now, I absolutely hate it! Lol. She's 90 y.o. now, and she still weeds her yard. I'm convinced gardening keeps you youthful.

  3. 3 potatoes would b enough for that size bag most people just leave one chit / roots on before planting the potatoes.
The garden is looking so good 😊

  4. Hi Shade, a little tip. Sometimes your local recycling centre sells bags of top soil cheaply. Ours in Northumberland charges £4 a bag & it's good Stuff.

  5. Hello friend it’s okay take your time and enjoy your new home and do the things to make it what you want. Love you and will be here waiting as always GOD BLESS.🙏🏾🥰💖💯💫

  6. Hi👋 I almost gave up on you Shade…Glad to see another wonderful video❤

  7. Looking so pretty..you def have the gardening bug.I have pots on top of gravel..I put weed membrane down first then gravel..its looks very Mediterranean .

  8. Hi shade you won’t be able to paint that wall at the bottom of your garden as it’s not your property,to avoid any issues with your neighbours please seek there approval as it’s a tricky situation although it backs onto your garden you can’t just paint it hope all goes well 😊

  9. I found a couple of gorgeous greyish brown clay pots in my local charity shop last weekend for £1 each. Brought them home, planted some plants from Home Bargains in them, and thought to myself..I feel like Shade 😂 Your plants are looking fab. Ours are coming up nicely at the minute too 🤎

  10. Your plants and your flowers looks beautiful Shade, love your gardening videos so inspiring thank you ☺️ can wait for the next one. Take care yourself see you soon 🤗

  11. Your flower arrangements are looking fab and the garden will be looking amazing soon when they are in full bloom and your grass grows back!! Please don’t leave it soo long before you post a new vlog. Have a good weekend ❤

  12. You do things at your own pace! I am just grateful to have an insight into what you do as you are so inspirational! Your mum seems really lovely x x x x x well done on what you have achieved in the house so far! Your garden is lovely and private.

  13. Shade, get some Mo Bacter for lawns in a box . My lawns were poor like yours . Use every couple months , promise lawns will be lush and green soon , with no moss !!! Good thing to no dark brown patches in lawn. All that hardworkbefore will also help. GÒOD LUCK

  14. There's so much going on lol. 😅

Potatoes, only need 2 per bag. But those have been sterilised for sale so you won't have a bumper crop so I guess all in one bag will get a bag full of potatoes.

I've never seen anyone cut the roots off of new plants?? I know that you'd do that say, a rose if you were transplanting an established plant from a space to another. Cut the roots short and also foliage.

So this is new to me, I'm excited to see how they do!

  15. Love the start of your garden. It's coming together beautifully. It's a lot of hard work, but it's definitely worth it.

  16. Hi Shade, your pots look lovely and so effective, I’ve recently put down grass seed, pigeons also loved it , didn’t have much hope for it then all of a sudden it grew and now it’s so thick, looks lovely x

  17. You were right they are peonies – just spelt with their horticultural name (which is pronounced pee -on -ee -a) btw – it is pronounced glad ee oh -lie and lob – eel – ia
