Here are a few of my favorite plants and flowers that make my containers pop on the terrace.
Violets
Foamflower
Fuchsia
Coral bells
Dahlia
Twinspur
Lewisia
Hosta
Hydrangea
Lupines
Putting some plants in pots is a simple way to prepare your outside space for summer… and the best part is that there are no rules. From lupines to dahlias, anything goes. Even delicate little violets.
My summer containers have everything from the expected, such as hosta and hydrangea and other classic perennials, to foamflowers and gorgeous lupines that grow so well in terracotta pots.
Take a look and let me know what you’re planting this year.

Hey man! Love your containers and the jazz! Keep up the great work. I feel like I should add more perennials in containers. Thanks for the inspiration. Greetings from the US, Southern California!!
