Pruning Tomato Plants and Grapevines | Weekend Gardening With Me #5

Backyard Edible Garden Tour In Los Angeles, California | How to prune garden tomatoes? To grow healthy and prolific tomatoes, you need to prune them, I mean prune them heavily. Start with the bottom leaves, then keep on pruning as they grow. The bottom half should be clear to allow proper air circulation and to prevent pests and diseases. Here’s my weekend gardening with lots of pruning, from tomatoes to grapevines, nectarine and pear trees. With some harvest too – strawberries, peppers, kumquats, mint and beets. With food insecurity on the rise, if you are interested in growing food, then come join me. You might pick up some ideas that might be helpful in planning your edible garden like which fruit trees and vegetables to grow, the varieties that thrive well in our growing zone, types of raised beds and barrels.. and many more. Plus a Filipino brunch.
