Project Zomboid is an open-world isometric video game in development by British and Canadian independent developer The Indie Stone. the only thing i can think of as i have never played this game [and dont plan on it] is that irl if you are forced to jump from a high place like a few stories up or a cliff things like bushes CAN reduce the severity of the injuries but it also comes with a risk of being impaled by sticks and what not the bush acts like a crumple zone or an air bag slowing the time of deceleration thus making a not very survivable fall MORE but not completely survivable fall
Needs some !science!
But I also think, that bushes might be the solution for fall damage. If it is this way, we all know how to build the next emergency – escape!

Slightly more fun fact, we call them bum bags instead of fanny packs. So there's no high ground to be had there
so from what i can see,when you jumped on the "front" side again,he didnt die as the zombs got him. not the jump.
It is possible to fall from a great height and not die. You won't be happy about it and you won't feel great either. There are all kinds of miraculous stories of people surviving terrible accidents. I think if you just used the debug, teleported back to the roof and kept going, no one would have faulted you. After all, your character was trying to climb down the rope and not jumped off the roof.
I guess that bush muffled your fall! that is kinda insane, i never realised that detail 😀 deserves testing

Guess bushes break falls! That's gonna be good to know in the future. Wonder if its guaranteed to survive a fall into a bush, or if it's just a chance.

and yeah will have to agree with the others that the bush certainly broke that fall, thats how you know fate's with you "youre not meant to die to a fall, not this early, your death will be gorier and more gruesome than this"

What are her time settings? I'm new to the game so after i do a few things around the house and prepare to leave then half the day is gone already. I feel like I'm constantly racing against the clock and keep missing Life and Living morning and afternoon.
