THRIFT LIKE A STYLIST/ THE TRENDS TO THRIFT SUMMER EDITION

Let’s THRIFT THE TRENDS… the spring 2023 fashion trends are here and they’re oh-so-chic. From oversized blazers to maxi skirts, there’s something for everyone. In this video, I’ll show you how to thrift these trends – we’ll start with the baggy jeans trend that’s taken over the runways. Say goodbye to your skinny jeans and hello to relaxed fits that are both comfortable and stylish. Next up, we have the power blazer, but this time it’s bigger and better. And let’s not forget about the maxi skirt trend that’s here to stay. Altuzarra and Tory Burch showed us how to wear maxi skirts that sweep the floor. Let’s go thrifting and bring these spring 2023 fashion trends to life!

  1. I LOVE thrifting.. i actually probably spend waaaay more than i would on full price clothing just because i find so many great things i hate to leave behind.. im kind of addicted to Goodwill..🫤.. need to slow my roll.. i get so inspired from you. Even though i mainly wear wear skirts/ dresses but you always give a fresh twist to things ..

  2. That valentino was awesome! I also thought the khaki Brookes Brothers.. fit you so well. Im not into rhe oversized but im short, 5'3 barely.. petite, tiny upper body and even tailored clothes look oversized on me.. i am so here for the maxi skirts.. except for the jean ones.. i just donated two of them.. they were just too much fabric and the slit was too high.. idk.. maybe a buttoned one would work better.. im not giving up.. maybe a fuller one w a back vent.. im on the hunt.. love my Thursdays because of you!! 👍

  3. The designer/runway focus has taken the channel in a different direction and made it less relatable to me, and I truly miss your earlier and more individualist approach to thrifting and dressing. I do still tune in, but I am always looking for new channels with that beginner spark you had. I just don’t relate to the fashion world and designer labels, which I think is a cruel world.

  4. Love the content. I didn't like the camera angles. It was given Audition vibes. Kinda HGTV/TLC. Been watching you for years. nothing wrong with trying something new. You always keep things progressing forward. Remember to always play dress up!🙂❤

  5. Skinny pants are in this summer (but not prevalent yet – except in Italy). Skinny jeans are coming back in the autumn.

  6. Great video Beth. I’ve enjoyed all of your content for many years! Thanks for continuing your channel!!!

  7. please, please, mention pricing. nice to know the price of putting a thrifted outfit together. thanks.

  8. Luved this tutorial! I'm a minimalist. Exposing me to your maximalist genius is a delightful education! Please continue these videos

  9. Some of our thrift stores have started hanging pants and skirts sideways so it’s impossible to tell the hem of the items. Ridiculous and so annoying

  10. Beth, this was an awesome video & be still my heart, when you scored that gorgeous Valentino Jacket!
Well done & you always come up with the best ideas!! Your styling
technique is like a work of art!!

  11. The blazers you found were fabulous but you should have got the beige one too, it looked gorg on you❤️

  12. This was one of the best videos, with amazing finds. I thought that there was gobs of great content and usable information.

  13. Love this!!!!
I thrift a lot and this is the first video I’ve seen done this way. Great ideas, fabulous outfits!

  14. Okay, I like the jeans on you but you are tiny and just about anything would look good on you.

  15. I'm also loving the baggy trend….everything baggy is such a vibe! Love your tips for finding this trend in the men's section. Will do that next time i'm at the thrift!!!

  16. I love this style of video! Very instructional which I need vs you just showing a haul of your amazing pieces. Subscribed!!

  17. This is the first time I've watched one of your videos and I'm very impressed at your bravery for filming trying on & tips & tricks right in the Goodwill! You go girl! 🥰

  18. The grey skirt and the two jackets looked good because they actually fit and therefore flattered you. Sorry, but the pants looked ridiculous. I can just see women much bigger than you following a silly "trend" and looking awful. People should dress according to what looks good on their bodies, not because they are lemmings being told what the trends supposedly are . Will women ever really learn to liberate themselves?
