Howdie! has young grass (e.g new grass from last year) more seedhead produktion? I feel like my lawn wich i seeded last year has ALOT of hard big sprouts of seedheads. Its not as soft as it was last year. Please say that this will get better as the grass mature more 🙂 Or i have to reseed my whole lawn.

how do you take care of the brown patches more when they are so thick and you cant see the soil. do they need to be break until you see the soil and re seed or let the grass take over slowly?

Ryan, I subscribe to your channel and learn much from your videos. Thank you for that. I've been trying to get Bermuda to grow in my backyard from seed for a few months. I'm in the Fort Lauderdale Metro area in South Florida, where it has been raining heavily – not long ago, we received nearly 20" in one 24-hr period and another 20" in the following couple of weeks. As you can imagine, my backyard looked like the Everglades Swamp.
I've tried 'protecting' the seeds from the deluge unsuccessfully. The water runs and moves the soil and seeds. This happens in 50% of my backyard, where I have naked soil with a few leaves of Bermuda popping up. I'm sure you have a couple of ideas to help protect seeds from torrential rains. I would appreciate it if you shared your experience on this matter.

What kind of fertilizer will you be using on your front lawn through the summer? Milorganite? Or just more starter?
I’m in the Chicago area. We haven’t had rain in a couple weeks, and next couple weeks looks like nothing either. Would you recommend let the grass go dormant with no rain in sight?
Ryan, noticed you were using the Scott's Elite, I grabbed one last year because I didn't want to spend hundreds on the higher quality but I feel like I'm just not able to get it to be consistent. Are you finding this at all?
