The pod won’t open unless you drop water directly on it, and even then it’s not instantaneous, so you’d need to splash water for a prolonged (tho not very long) time to risk dispersing seeds. Be sure to wait for the pod to be completely dry, then you can just pull on it to remove it completely.
Good luck! You have a very nice faucaria, I had a seed pod from a similar one and it gave me a ton of plants, I found it pretty easy to germinate and to grow. Now I’m stuck with too many faucarias ahah
