  1. My composting in place feeds all my plants year round. Thank you for the ideas, explanations and showing the results in your plants.

  2. By watching your videos, I no longer discard these valuable nutrients to feed my plants. I should have paid more attention to my granduncle. He always had 2 huge gardens and had delicious vegetables and fruit.

  3. How did the worms get in there with tote being off the ground? I’ve so much to learn & to remember. I often forget to add things from fridge to my compost bucket. I am getting better but, this morning I tossed out a cup or so of oatmeal that was old. ☹️. Thanks for all you do & share.

  4. Robbie, you have so much knowledge and wisdom!! I learn so much from you!! Thank you so much for teaching us!!🙏🏻 We absolutely Love seeing Kitty eating her broccoli too!! I am sure you miss her so very much.

  5. I had red wriggler worms that ate all my veggie stuff and I had an closed container that I added bokashi culture that feremented bones and cheese and meat, and when it finished, the bones were soft,a nd the black soldier flies finished the rest of the bones off.
I put all my avocado pits into my worm bin because it was the perfect germination station for seeds. I had pumpkin seeds, pepper seeds, avocado seeds, onion bottoms, everything tried to grow in there while the worms worked the rest of it.
    ETA:
I was filling a container, and put large branches in the bottom , and smaller twigs and then live green branches, then I had a bucket of kitchen scraps, so I put that in there and covered it with dry brown leaves, and I put some old soil from previous growing pots on top of that and put the bagged potting soil on top.
I needed to get rid of the kitchen scraps cuz the neighbors dog got into it popped the lid so it got rained on and smelled bad ( I don't have my worm bin anymore) So I figured to bury it under the old soil would be okay. I figure I'll wait a couple of days for it to settle and then see if I can plant something in it.

  6. I think living in a warm climate would break down some of these organic items (like the chicken for example) a lot faster than where I live (Scotland) Great system, but maybe not for Northern Europe. That chicken would still be there a year on in my compost bin, haha.

  7. Maggots for me are great workers ❤️ they break down everything! 💗
Thank you Robbie for another great video! ❣️Compost in place is so useful for our gardens 💞

  8. Happy Memorial Day I made a compost bucket for my garden this year thank you for the great information

  9. (HELP???) Can someone answer this for me? I have a bucket of compost tea left from last year. We found it, it's only greens and water, but I'm sure it doesn't smell good at all! can I still use it this year? I'm afraid! My plants are beautiful. I've been following Robbie's composting in place and I want to use this compost tea, but I'm scare. My husband says he doesn't see why I shouldn't use it. What do you all think?

  10. I want to ask you something I would be very grateful if you give me answers.
My compost bin is full of antes 🤷🏼‍♀️I don’t want those bugs on my deck so get to the house 😢 I use those compost in my flower pots too 🤷🏼‍♀️I learn from you to put kitchens scraps in all my containers And all the pots and compost dirt over it , and next year I see that is all disappear and is all dirt , thank you 🙏🏾

  11. Can used kleenex be composted? Would the viruses/germs/etc. be bad to put into compost? I'm thinking it would be more stuff for the microbes and worms to eat. I had a bad cold a couple of weeks ago and used up a whole box of kleenex, constantly blowing my nose and thought what a shame to waste all this if it could be composted.

  12. I live in an area where earthworms are non existent. Are they necessary to to make compost?

  13. How do the earth worms get into it when it’s up off the ground. Did you add some from your yard?

  14. Hi Robbie,
Can I put watermelon rind in my pitcher system? Will it breakdown?
Thank you, a fellow so cal Gardner

  15. If the container is raised, how do the earthworms get in there? Do you add them?

  16. That fish looks just like the Tilapia from Sam’s Club . It has a weird taste to it.
