  1. Always wonderful to have a son come and help out! Looks like Fred the Dog did a wonderful job supervising and rolling in the grass on break time! :} And Mom still putting in her 2 cents where needed! Ha-ha! 🙂

  2. Awesome son! The flower garden, looking beautiful! I have never grown marigolds like that either. Pretty, neat ! Great video

  3. Thanks for the garden update – flower garden should be safe now from the critters and deer! Having the for thought about how you are going to get supplies into a garden area before fencing it in is critical planning. Everything is looking awesome Kaye – Hope you have a wonderful and blessed week!

  4. So happy for you that you got your fence in! Your flower garden is beautiful, my friend, and it appears that it will become even more beautiful as the Summer progresses!

  6. ,oh! Kaye I think if you do collect some lavender it should have a second flower ing before autumn 😊xxx

  7. Thanks for the garden update! I enjoy all your videos and look forward to seeing those on medicinal herbs.😃

  8. Walker did a great job making your vision clear and protecting your beautiful flower garden! So pretty Kaye….your place is just beautiful….

  9. Oh…I agree…I’d let the bees have the Lavender. I bet their so happy to find it!

  10. I can’t bring myself to harvest my lavender either, because of the bees. So, I just planted another one in a different area, one for the bees and one for me. Your pollinator garden is an inspiration!

  11. Stopping by to say HELLO!

  12. Yes, I really enjoyed this video…I was thinking….I am in Northern California, Shasta County. I had 4 oclocks that became six foot weeds! Be careful where you plant them there???? Love the flower bed and all the flowers cant wait to see what else will be planted someday!

  13. Yeah ,,Deer ate my black eyed Susans along driveway and a small hydrangea I was nursing's back to health . then they ate my peaches ,,, first year of peaches on this tree,

  14. Pretty Sunflower in the intro. I have seven Sunflowers but am disappointed at how small they turned out to be in the native desert soil. So will amend a lot for next Spring. Corn was Bantam and is making cobs so that is good even if they too are smaller than they should be. More amendment work. I have tomatoes fruiting and turning red and carrots and a few other things like mini watermelons. I also have lots of Hollyhocks. Still battling those pesky grasshoppers but may win the war. Your fence is a nice thing to keep your garden from munching by the deer. Good work. Be encouraged Kaye. Your place is a gem and nicer each year!

  15. Your granddog is beautiful! I turned my whole front yard into a pollinator garden. I especially love my buddleias (so do the butterflies). I bet you’ll be increasing that as time goes on.
