We are just starting to get cucumbers. It looks like we will be overrun as well! Everything is looking great this year in my garden. We had a wonderful spring here with cool weather and lots of rain. And I put bio char/Tara Preda on most everything.

Sitting here wishing I had a big ole bowl of fresh strawberries! Round zucchini – wow! Oh those gorgeous sunflowers! I have lemon cucumber seeds – hope to do them next year. I'm in So Cal too. How do you overwinter peppers? Is there anything I have to do? A skunk tore up half the roots of my pepper plant. Do you think the plant will survive? Should I take off the 12 peppers so the plant can concentrate it's energy on repairing the roots? Glad to have someone in my same zone to help me with my garden. My first year and it's a lot of fun to pick veggies for my dinner – cilantro, parsley, tomatos, peppers, kale, letter and beans all are doing fine in just a tiny space and some 5 gal buckets.

Haven’t really had any harvests (aside from beets) this year. Last year this time, I was already picking peppers, cucumbers, and zucchini. Everything is slow this year cause of the drought. They are growing well, but slow to produce.
Kim your garden looks beautiful I'm harvesting beans and tomatoes and peppers right now I have watermelon and squash waiting to be harvested I have sun flowers and lots of other flowers growing as well

We just harvested our bananas, this is our first harvest, but we're expecting two more banana harvest by the end of the year.We thought our first year of bananas were great (remember the banana muffins), but our second year is even better. Just as much cucumbers too! Still wishing for a zucchini harvest. Learning and keeping busy everyday. Check out the stand-up raised bed we made and who it was delivered to. What a great video! Can't get enough of your garden. This is strange. We already have peppers and some tomatoes here in south central IN. Sunflowers blooming too. Very dry, watering a lot. The smoke from Canada is really bad. They say the worst air quality in the world right now. What is the strawberry variety you have? Ours are done. Thanks!
