The CBA is a mutual agreement not a unilateral ownership agreement. The players agreed to it knowing full well the effect.
Chris Paul for about 28-30 min a game and for around 70 games for the season would be great next to Smart and White. Brogdon and Pritchard to Washington?
Always paul is what any team needs.. then teams got him and nothing happens.. nothing in LA nothing in houston nothing in Phoenix, we need a big!
If I'm Paul, I'm threatening to retire unless I can go to team that is a contender. C's should go all in on this. Paul could really teach Smart a few things too.

IF Joe doesn't want to play Grant, or doesn't see Grant as a big part of the team moving forward, then he definitely give up Grant to get CP, regardless of whether Grant is good for the team or not, if Joe aint gonna play him, then keeping him is a waste.

I think you have to sign Brown. I dont think he is worth the money, but you have to control the asset. you can probably get another team to bite on Jaylen. its the kind of thing where I hate that giving him this deal is right decision, but i still think it is

Getting cp3 for what? To have him sit on the bench in crunch time just like they did Brogdon? Ever wonder why they have a point guard issue every year? That's because they are starting and closing games with the wrong guard. White and Brogdon played their roles, even white gets benched on crunch time in favor of Smart. Point guard issue on this team will never be fixed for as long as they have Smart who has no more upside.
Mazzula will get eaten alive by Cassell, Chris Paul, and Al Horford… who are all older and more experienced then Joe.

Last July Beal signed a 5-year $251m supermax (no trade clause), a year later he's salary dumped. Brown is about to sign a 5-year $295m supermax. Supermax contracts were designed for top-5, not top-25 players. The Celtics should absolutely not do this – trade him now

If the Celtics sign JB to the max, it would be extremely difficult to trade him later. Unlike Beal, who Washington swapped for picks and multiple players, if the Celtics go over $179 mil in total salary, they can only trade like for like. They can't make it a two for one to balance salaries or include picks. Once Tatum is signed to the supermax, the Celtics are screwed in terms of player movement.
I think this trade for both teams is bad but wizards would be better off letting Paul go off a buyout. Besides that Bobby is a real cultured man with the Roc Marci album in the back 😂
