  1. I think Leah is a very sweet girl… but I really subscribe to see you and Stewart, your home and garden. I do love when you take us to Johns garden and other venues… but you are there. If Leah gets a channel I may join her. ALso , As neat as the sunglass organizer is…. at 72 I do not have any friends or family who own 15 pair of sunglasses.

  2. 👋 to who was waving in the mirror! 😂 Assuming it was Stewart. Really enjoyed the thrifting tips and can't wait to see you in the outfit (s). 😊

  3. Wondering if those sleeves will snag? Cleaning up roses is my dreaded job. Enjoyed you today!

  4. Getting ready to leave for a hiking trip and purchased the farmers sleeves fur sun protection. I will also use them in my garden! Thanks Linda!

  5. I am 60 years old and a faithful LV follower of about 4 years. I have studied Linda's style and our garden looks better than it ever has thanks to her videos!
I loved Leah's strategy for shopping for thrifted clothing. I will use those tips!
I smiled when Linda said 'people don't have all day to watch these videos' I thought 'but, yes, I would love to watch them all day!' 🙂
Thank you Stuart and Linda. Grateful to you both!

  6. Lol I just bought a pair of jeans ..new and at a discount store…they are made with recycled plastic bottles too. Haven't warn them yet. But what will they think of next 😁😅

  7. Wouldn’t it have been more FUN if STEWART would have done this Thrifting segment.
He knows her likes & dislikes after all the videos they have done together. Not to mention his sense of humor! 😂

  8. I need to admit that I have to be in the mood to watch Linda's videos. The bit about the sunglass drawer organizer as a gift for a visit to a friend with a beach/lake house? Oh please! I know that you live in a very she-she section of OK City. Flowers, vegetables, trees and shrubs don't know the difference if they are placed in the soil of of a 1%-er's house or in salvaged styrofoam containers in the back of a Vietnamese restaurant. Anyone can garden, Linda. So (you and Stewart) come out of your Mesta neighborhood bubble and get real for Pete's sakes! Sun glass organizer! Jeesh!

  9. Does somebody knows where can I get the t-shirt Linda is wearing? Thanks!

  10. Leah did a fine job for Linda. Snarky comments smack of jealousy. She was a lovely, cheerful young woman doing a difficult job for someone who has become iconic to many and did just fine. Some people should pay attention to how they sound and grow up. One doesn’t have to always say what they are thinking if it will be hurtful.

  11. I tune in to Linda to see gardening and really not to see wine tasting and thrifting. I try to run these segments up and since the front garden is done, I guess it will be awhile before we see gardening again. I just find new to me gardeners on YouTube to enjoy.

  12. Lynne here. Welcome LEAH !! You’re in good hands working on Linda’s team. I look forward to seeing more of you. Linda’s team is small so if she want you on the team that’s good enough for me as I’m sure she’s very particular.

  13. I watch several YouTube channels and if they air something I’m not interested in I just scroll on by. If someone’s voice irritates me I just don’t watch. I’m appalled that anyone would be so miserable that they would want to cause hurt just blows my mind! I have opinions just like anyone but I think it’s very rude to air my opinion in a negative way. You know what they say about opinions…..

  14. I watched the video the day it was released and didn’t leave a comment or read the other comments, so when Linda mentioned them on today’s video my curiosity got the best of me so here I am when it was probably smarter to just stay quiet. 😀Frankly I think some on both sides have lost perspective, but then the last few years I do find I disagree with the extremes on both sides of most any issue, lol. I could be wrong but I think most people fall within a close median and the far sides just outshout the rest of us and get more attention. Anyway, maybe if Linda could introduce/explain more if anyone is going to do a segment alone, that might help? I think the young lady did a good job and was fine, but the items she chose just weren’t my thing so it wasn’t all that interesting to me, and that’s okay. It doesn’t mean she wasn’t good, just that we don’t share common tastes in that area. I also think that some of the “defenders “ who read offense in many comments where I don’t think offense was intended, then themselves became deliberately offensive to the person who posted a more critical opinion. Normally Linda asks for feedback, even if it’s criticism not praise so I think at least some of the folks were stating their opinions in that sense, not to be hurtful. Undoubtedly, there were a small handful on both sides that seemed to intentionally step over the line. I also think anyone who puts themselves out on social media needs to have somewhat tough skin, or at least refrain from reading comments, because there are always going to be people you didn’t resonate with and some of them are going to say so, sometimes trying to offer a suggestion and sometimes for other reasons. One other thought struck me, and maybe I am the only one who feels this way, but I doubt it, is that so many of us older women, particularly older single women, already feel invisible to society and kind of beat down, so I for one like watching another woman in my age bracket with interests and tastes that are similar to mine, and am simply less interested in watching a much younger woman with tastes that are different because it seems like there’s already too much of that. And that’s nothing personal, no offense meant, and no criticism implied because their tastes are likely far more current and in style than mine. 😀

  15. FOR ALL THE CRITICS OF MEAN SPIRIT FIRST OF ALL ARE YOU PAYING LINDA TO WATCH HER VIDEOS UMMM SO JUST DONT COMMENT IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT!!!!😮

  16. Linda, you and your team are wonderful. I really enjoyed meeting another member of your team. Leah's segment was so lovely. It will be fun to see how they look on Linda. Also great shopping strategy. It made me feel like I might be more open to shopping for clothes at a thrift shop – I wasn't before. It is sad that people were critical. 💕 We the people can control what wee see on YouTube. If I am not interested, I stop the segment and move on.

  17. Linda, I ordered a little sprayer and I love it! The last time I used it though, it kinda of collapsed … like a suction if that makes sense! I was wondering has this ever happened to yours?

  18. Leah inspired me to go thrifting today and I found some LINEN PIECES! Thank you LV for having Leah on. I’m a 26 yr old who’s getting into gardening (thanks to you and my grandma. We both watch you). I loved this video❤

  19. I agree, I always look for the material as well. I feel like they always wear better and last longer. Thank you for taking us all along. 🥰

  20. Enjoyed being introduced to Leah. Looking forward to seeing Linda in her new-to-her thrifted clothes!

  21. Leah, thank you! What a great tip about fabric content. I can’t wait to see Linda styling the clothes. This made me think of an old friend that I use to shop for clothes with. She was my personal stylist. Unfortunately we live too far away to do that now, but thanks for bringing that memory back. ♥️

Linda, thanks for all the product tips! I love them. 😊

  22. I'm finding this whole exchange to be incredibly interesting from a social perspective. I think people need to realize that being a "Content Creator" is a job that pays real money. As consumers of that content, we don't pay a fee to watch, but in addition to suffering through ads, or paying extra not to see them, we pay with our TIME and that is extremely valuable to me. There is nothing wrong with constructive feedback as it allows the creator to tailor their output to what their audience wants to see. Can you imagine saying to your boss, "If you don't have anything nice to say…"?? The other reality is that YouTube rewards channels that post constantly and that is what you have to do if you want to stay in front of those lucrative eyeballs. Erin from the Impatient Gardener (who I absolutely ADORE because she A. Has a real job and B. Takes no crap and is highly sarcastic and I'm here for it), talked about this recently and how her inability to post every day has hurt her channel. I suspect that this new type of content from Linda was a way to keep producing videos while she is away or now that the front garden is planted. That's ok, but it's important to remember that it might not resonate with everyone who watches you for a specific kind of content or because they find you personally appealing. The exchange is healthy and will probably make the channel stronger.

  23. A thrifting video is what got me here in the first place. Then I saw gardening and was hooked! I enjoy every video. I loved watching Leah. So cute and stylish. Leah, like Linda is made for the camera. Looking forward to more thrifting and gardening videos. Thanks for all you share with us.

  24. Great tips Leah – I LOVE the tip abt looking for fabrics – I am 58 years old and I LOVE cotton and linen and hate polyester and rayon and elastine etc..they do not breathe ! After watching this I thought "I'm gonna do that next time I go to the thrift store for clothes".

  25. I have a question on the gardeners sleeves. Are they breathable? I overheat in the garden. I can’t imagine wearing long sleeves. It seems to me that wearing these gloves would be like that. Plus you said that they are made from plastic bottles. That doesn’t seem like they would be very breathable. Also, wondering if they had plain colors so it’s not so obvious or clashing with what you might already be wearing?

  26. Loved Leah's strategies for thrifting and her sense of style, as well as the dialogue between Leah and Stewart. Thanks for keeping the channel evolving and interesting. Thank you Linda, Leah, and Stewart.

  27. Loved this segment! I have gotten lots of ideas from Linda on gardening, decorating and great products to try! Loved seeing Leah going thrifting and her talking about what is trending. I am going to be 65 years young in a month and love getting new ideas from all age groups!

  28. Just wanted to Thank you for this idea for garden sleeves. My daughter’s meds are causing sun sensitivity—I ordered her a set of sleeves—she loves them now she can enjoy her gardening again. Thanks again!

  29. Thank you for reminding me to order a pair of Farmers Sleeves—I got the White Ladybugs. My Hoi Hoi Knife and Sheboren Sprayer will arrive Tuesday.
Linda, I thank you for your joy, knowledge and care that all come through your videos. Blessings to you. 😎
