My dream backyard, currently working towards this so far I just have three trees and a few flowers but I’ll get there plus I planted Chinese pistach trees on the other side of my rock wall hoping they’ll over grow my tall wall so I can see them in the background plus my layered garden in front

This is hands down one of the best videos in YouTube-land on the subject of landscape architecture!! Michael's talent, aesthetic and infectious personality are incredible. I love that he's tackled the everyday issues of pets, insects, and problematic plantings with such honesty and a sense of humor. I planted a trumpet vine over my detached studio and cried when I had to tear it down because of rats. And, I'm shocked/thrilled to learn that Sacramento is in zone 9! I'm in New Orleans and we are zone 9b, so his try-it-and-see approach is greatly encouraging. You've done a wonderful job with this interview and thanks so much to Michael for sharing his knowledge and allowing us into his home!
I have a question about the fence stain, can you stun one side of fence without messing up your neighbors side of the fence or do you have to stain both sides?
